Hi guys,

Ok, 4 weeks ago I found a better job (more money, better hours multi national company so more secure etc).

About the same time we found a perfect house...

Now I'm currently on a 10 week probation via an agency, mortgage adviser no1 said "no problem get a letter from your employer saying they'll take you on after 10 weeks". Adviser no1 goes of sick and now enter mortgage adviser no2.

Adviser no2 also wants a contract of employment I don't have one with my employer bit do have one from my agency. "That's no good agency workers must have one year's worth of evidence"

Hopefully the buyers will wait 5 weeks. But if not is there a hope in hell of anyone looking at giving us a mortgage?

Yes it can be done, there are lenders who will ignore probationary periods.

I'm a broker, drop me a PM if you don't mind talking to broker no. 3 smile
