Been given notice on SH Tennacy - quick question

Hi gents,

Moved in to house in July - 6 month fixed term with clause break then another 6 moons possible

Agency letter received requiring we move out on or by 1st April - Section 21 (b)

The 6 months is up at the end of January

Question:

Since the LL now requires that we move out and cannot extend - are we still bound by the one month's notice to the end of Feb? Essentially - can we go at the end of Jan given the LL has 'ended' the SHTA

I think contractually, you are still bound by the month's notice, but the agency/landlord might be reecptive to you offskiing a bit early.
