As per the title really. My MD's looking at leasing a new Discovery 10k/yr, 3yr. Are any PHers involved or able to help/recommend a good place to get a deal?

Am I the only one to think it a bit odd to assist your boss with company financial matters?

Not sure if there any good on Land Rovers, but take a look at freedom contracts.

I hope you get that promotion. yes

Although if I'm being honest climing the promotional ladder shoukd be done on the merits of your work not how well you can brown-nose your boss.

Oh give over; the OP is trying to be helpful, not 'brown nose'.

How do you know this isn't work? The boss might have told him to do it!

There are some really weird responses on this thread.

Yes you are. Plenty of people have good relationships with their colleagues, and god forbid even their bosses. What a strange comment....... why don't you just say nothing?

Indeed. We're quite a small company and the MD's a mate as well as a boss. Complete petrolhead, I pointed him to 911virgin when he was buying a 996 Turbo and we talk cars all the time. He knows I'm a PHer and will always try and put stuff to fellow Pistonheaders (I have a number who're customers too).

If people find it odd then I guess that's their issue not mine!

Does he need rear seats?

If not suggest he considers the disco commercial. Nice bit of tax saving smile

Be careful with this if its a DIY job.

I know someone who took the rear seats out of a Range Rover, reclassify it as a van and then fell foul of BIK rules when HMRC came knocking.

OK - how should apostrophes be used?

Yours in anticipation.
