Does anyone have a Diner's Club card? Happy with the service? It's a business card rather than personal.
I have an AMEX charge card and I like the system that charge cards use but AMEX have being pi@@ing me off steadily with some little things they've done, so would be quite happy to take it away from them.

Don't know what James is peeved about but I have had Amex Platinum for several years and getting peeved with the increased fees for less benefits. I have looked but not found a viable alternative.
Strange. I've been really impressed by mine. What benefits aren't available now that were available previously? Genuine question, not me being awkward.

As already stated the FOREX rates are horrible so I use a Halifax Clarity card abroad. Also dissapointed when the Hilton Diamond membership was withdrawn and the annual fee for holding the card increased substantially. What benefits aren't available now that were available previously? Genuine question, not me being awkward.
I still have Amex Platinum for now but would love to find an alternative. Sorry Diners Club just isn't a substitute.

2. Travel inconvenience insurance for trips not booked on the card. If you have a family of 4 and you decide to book your trips with an Amex to get the necessary cover this may cost you an extra £20+ per trip. Multiply this by a few trips a year and it makes the Amex insurance look very expensive compared to a standalone policy.
