I've been contacted by a company who call themselves Delta Capital Management, asking me to invest with them and promising good returns. They've emailed me details of their services, and have a website full of information so it all appears to be above board, But I'm the suspicious type and realise that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Does anyone else have any further knowledge or experience of this organisation?

Do reputable investment management companies need to cold call possible investors?

Boiler room fraud. Share sale, boiler room, hedge fund or bond fraud involves bogus stockbrokers, usually based overseas, cold calling people to pressure them into buying shares that promise high returns. In reality, the shares are either worthless or non-existent.

Also boiler room is a great film, try wolf of wall street at same time BUT whatever you do, do not invest with this company

Just searched the FCA Financial Services Register. The company appear on it and come up as 'authorised.'

For Delta Capital Management?

And they called you out of the blue?

And they promised you returns?

OP,

You are right to be concerned, and the scepticism here is well placed. Contact the regulator directly for chapter and verse.

No, Delta Capital MARKETS and according to my research, the US is one of the countries in which they do not operate.

Your FCA link was to 'Delta FINANCIAL Markets Limited'.

According to my research this is a 100% guaranteed way to change your wealth.

This is the FCA link you need:

Well whoever they are, if I can't verify their existence I will ignore all future communications from them. Will also fill in that SCA form swatches linked to.
