nah this is a shake down. i seen it a few times. i only wish i had sold high and waited foR the drop yo rebuy again would have made 200 quid. i did this last time it went from 1300 to 1000 after the failed etf. btc is strong but jumpy.

Buy and hold is the way, unless these are the ripples of an BIG earthquake coming..?

I think you can spreadbet them. I'm not sure about the margin requirements/costs though. What's your time horizon?

I read on one crypto news site (probably completely pie in the sky) and they reckoned by 2030 one bitcoin would be worth $1 million! Crazy to fathom that. I'm most interested in Ethereum / Ethereum classic although i'm struggling to get why 1 bitcoin is worth $2000+ and 1 Ethereum classic is $18.
the 1 million valuation was by Wences Casares, CEO of bitcoin wallet Xapo and member of PayPal's board of directors and this was based on the growth rate a day.

etc i think is pretty overvalued in comparison to the others, yes it has grown but so have loads of other currencies that don't do a lot.

That guy is a fraud btw (not that it matters). If you google Paul Bilzerian (his father) that's where the money really came from.
the point was more the 21 million followers he has.

Great plan, once the problems are sorted, this is the currency of the future.
really bitcoin is looking like a second runner now, and the lack of consensus seems to be a killer. the problem is bitcoin is a currency, eth is a whole lot more. the tokens on eth platform are worth nearly 1.2 billion on there own , add to the 34 billion market cap for eth.

the pigheadedness of bitcoin followers will be there downfall in my eyes.

BTC: 45,804,313,480 USD
ETH/BTC ~78%

95.51% ETH/BTC 24h Volume

like i posted i have no interest in eth(well i own tokens), i just understand it value something diehard btc fans cant see.

Interesting. I just had a look at the prospectus for that. Seems like you've forex exposure going from £ to SEK/EUR to US$ to BTC and back again. It's also only traded Mon-Fri business hours, so you're stuffed if you want to act on weekend news. The ETF (ETN to be more accurate) is backed by an outfit in Jersey (CI).
It's almost as if they make it complicated on purpose!

Anyone heard of an outfit called USI TECH?

Apparently you invest, and make 1% approx return on investment daily. Also referrals increase your dividend payout.

Guy at work is raving about it and he was at some big corporate shindig over the weekend. Thousands in attendance apparently.
Have never heard of them but it sounds classically dodgy.

That is exactly why im only putting £500 in - so if it tanks its not the end of the world - if it goes opposite then could be a nice windfall...

Can afford to lose it and do not want the stress of trading or worrying about whats going to happen to it.
a punt of 100 quid i would stick on aeternity, could be big next year, i know there are similar projects but i like the look.

Are you seriously considering this token to be anything more than yet another stcoin? Do you research this stuff?
the bloke who coded it is a pure genius the problem was a team came along and basically turned it into a ICO. I invested and sold up but will invest a again, the thing is a lot is happening net year it moves to pos/pow it have some good coding and a lot of money to get it going. could be a st coin but even st coin go up a lot. it is only liqui and has good volume and the price is not far off ico price. it is a punt but i have a good feeling. i like The Quantum Resistant Ledger as well but that again built on ones man idea which makes it slightly better than the stcoins, to me.

Well BTC dropping bcc u again, really showing support, next few months will be interesting I think. Once a few big exchanges and coinbase get behind bcc the tables might turn.

What fee did you set? Currently 160,000 transactions in the queue and growing every second (was 140k only 4 hours ago).

And lol at your butchered username in the quote hehe .
the thing is in a funny way people don't actually use it to move money massively, like ive post it peaked around 300k txs daily 2016 hasn't really increased much, it is used as a medium more than a tx. Ripple has about 30 million txs a day, so people use that to move value around. Makes btc look pretty st really, but people don't buy btc for fast txs.

Who is Roger Ver, and how might he be connected to the volatility of BTC during the last few days?
hes an investor in btc and other coins, basically he has a lot of followers in what he does, but i don't think he is is the reason for btc price drop.
