Bonnet Catch

This is the catch for the bonnet - how is it held into the chassis? Is it screwed in on anyone's car? So does a bolt go through the holes on top down into the wing? Mine has a blank top so I can't see if its a stud or something similar on the right hand side but the left had side holes are empty!

I think it bolts from the underside

Bolts come up from inside the footwells, rumour has it they can be a little awkward to access
