What is Ethereum and how come it's shares have sky rocketed?

FFS, ETH taking a nose dive. It's a good thing I haven't got a lot invested but it's still annoying. As you said Behemoth, crypto currency needs to be 110% secure or it's basically worthless. I can't see this going well for poor old ETH. Oh well some you win, some you loose.

i'm done with eth, even if it hits a 1000 usd, my money will stay in other projects. i don't want to be a guinea pig good luck to the rest.

If you buy in you could sell again 10 seconds later and pull your money out of the exchange via transfer.

I think this takes 3-5 days.

It depends on what coin, how liquid the exchange is on that coin, how much you are trading and whether the exchange and/or bank accepts the tx with the KYC/AML data they hold on you.
