If another one is interested besides eth there are some good DApps out there as well.

One that i think might give good returns is pluton built on the eth platform.

I still don't get how many of you are confusing the Ethereum platform with the Ether token. There's no reason for the token to accrue value. It is not a store of wealth and was never intended to be. I just don't get it. The fundamentals have a huge hole. Make hay whilst the sun shines, but watch out for the incoming gales. I say this as a holder of some of these. I picked them up at the beginning for peanuts out of sheer curiosity. I am still curious & absolutely fine if they hit a zillion quid but I'd be intellectually happier understanding why smile

you have been saying the same thing for months whilst the price has rocketed in value, as well as saying it will disappear, which hasn't happened, maybe time to say you are wrong in what you think about ethereum?

I am not wrong in what I think if I don't understand smile You're not answering my question, though, so I guess you don't really understand your own investment either. btw, I think it's been a month & I'm quite content to contemplate this for a lot longer biggrin

i don't own much ethereum atm. Do people that invest in telsa understand what they are investing in, i am not sure? i think eth has risen due to the issues with btc as well as options it offers over btc amongst.

it is also great that eth and tokens can be stored together. November is alleged date to move to pos, i think the price may hit 0.75k by end of year, i have got price predictions right so far.

It is great you have taken your profits. People often seem to throw money at things and have no idea what they are doing. I'm sure it's true of Tesla, too. I'm not like that. I always take time to understand what I am investing in. I take risks, but I'm cautious about it, if that makes sense.

Listened to a great Podcast Today.

Tim Ferris ,Nick Szabo and Naval Ravikant

Loads of good info and the explanations within it enabled me to put the pieces together and understand the market properly (within reason)

Highly recommended!

But you can't buy ETH from Localbitcoins.

I don't know of any alternative to Coinbase.

Most people buy Bitcoin and use that to buy Ether ( or any other alt)

you exchange to btc and then sell on local btc. yes the market is fluctuating a bit but best way. coinbase costs more and is slower.

Didn't think of that. Thank you.

So I'd buy Bitcoin from Localbitcoins, where's the best place to use this to buy ETH, that's what I'm really interested in

or just use a trading platform, this way you don't need to hold the coins, and thus have no liquidity issues.
