My thoughts are that this resilience is being caused by the 2X party unravelling. They have falling support amongst miners, people are leaving the NYA and again they have poor coding.

Being a bit nosey, when you say "small position" do you mean £10s/£100s/£1000s?

I'm asking for a reason - my current "buy more" level is £2.5K - which I'm starting to suspect is a price we will never see again.
That's ok, I hold $250 currently on eToro - that's where I generally trade. Their spreads are a little higher but its quick and easy. I have my HODL coins stashed in a wallet smile

When the price hit $3xxx I made sure I held at least 2 whole units. I'm waiting it out, I got stung in May with Eth when it hit $430 or whatever it was. Patience is key smile

What are peoples strategy for the up coming segwit fork?

Am thinking about adding more BTC to my holding and riding it up until a few days before the fork date and then dumping all for alts.

Segwit is a load of nothing IMHO.

I'm holding BTC for a long long time.

Yup. Fork will die with little impact. No predictable volatility I'd risk on.
