Have banks revised theway contactless debit cards can be used?
I have always thought there was a daily limit of £30 for contactless be it a one off £30 or numerous payments up to £30, something popped up on my local 'spotted in' page on facebook where a couple of people commented stating there is no daily limit for contactless except for a maximum of £30 per transaction so multiple max transactions could be made if you lost or your card was stolen until it was cancelled.

I would say it's been like that for a few years, at least as long as I have been "doing contactless"

I've never really noticed a daily cap, just the individual transaction limit. Sometimes the machine makes me use the card as a proper chip and pin if I've done several contactless purchases earlier.

Not aware of any daily limit. I thought it was simply a £30 maximum for each transaction.

A pal had his cards stolen and he reported it straight away, contactless worked for about a week afterwards but he card company picked up the bill.

£30 per transaction is what I've always thought. I've spent far more than £30 in a day many times using contactless
