Massive delay on funding though so at present its all based on speculation......SP will weaken if promises aren't met.

But I take it you've been in since the low 50s?

I current use the Shareprice app to keep track of any portfolio on my iPhone but the app is closing down in a week.

Any ideas of what to use instead?

Where did you hear that?

Do you mean the ‘stocks’ app that’s standard and pre loaded on the iPhone?

Are any of you doing simple "buy and hold" or are you all basically trading?

In which case, and serious question, if you think you're onto something good why the hell would you share that info with anyone? confused

Doesn't supply and demand drive price to some degree?

I doubt the Pistonheads "Share Tips Thread" is really swaying the stock market much...

Me neither laugh

Was simply a question, I asked as I've emailed a few fund managers in the past asking if they have a listing of their full holdings v the top 10 in the factsheet and several responded that they don't publish them to try and avoid people simply copying.

Maybe they're simply greedy or consider it giving away their edge hence the question smile

Seems they will be cracking down on CFDs in August - https://www.esma.europa.eu/press-news/esma-news/es...

Looks like the maximum leverage will probably be x5 rather than the x10 I normally trade at, which means I'll have to double the size of my positions. Buggers.

They charge a fee to invest in the holdings they 'recommend'. The only possible consequence of someone on here buying a share you tip is that the price increases slightly which is a good thing.

No, not the standard app. The SharePrice app that’s linked to shareprice.co.uk. When you load the app there is a message saying the app will close down on Friday the 8th June.

Tells you to use the ‘mobile friendly’ Interactive Investor website in the future but I think it’s st

Buy, hold and then sell. I don't trade by minutes/hours any more.

If I buy something and then mention it on here - what do I lose out on by telling people i've bought it? If anything, if you believe that demand drives prices then I have an incentive for people to follow my call and buy the stock too.

Also I don't think with the sorts of money I move around that I have anything to worry about concerning big institutions looking to screw me over because I made a post on PH.

Anyone got views on HNR? I have a big holding averaging 27p. It's now down to 18p from 36p end of last year, Been dropping ever since they started producing oil. They have since sold off most of their oil project for a 7.5% interest and the share price o continues to drop daily.

We don't talk about that, or the botched side channel, or somewhat vague results of the cementing, or the lack of any proof of a commercially viable well.

However, above all else, we don't talk about he death spiral financing.

Were these the charlatans that drilled into the Kimmeridge shale and then stated the vast reserves they had found under Gatwick airport?

One of the most undervalued shares in existence I think. Is bound to rerate soon.

Currently up 12% as I type. I can see this recovering back to 30-40p before long.
