Everything went south today, waiting for american markets to open...
That had to happen, the market couldn’t keep heading in the same direction. I have some £’s to put on but think I’ll hold on for a bit.
Hopefully I'll recoup some of my losses when New York opens. I was pretty confident BMW was a safe bet but now I'm not sure they're going to recover the way I thought so for now I'm out! Tesla seems to be a safer way to grow at the moment.

My choice to mostly get out of the markets in February 2020 into cash seems extremely foolish at the moment.

Who knew?!

Seemed sensible at the time!

frown

Can someone much smarter than me please explain how this is remotely possible?

Does everyone buying it expect a buy out?

If there isn’t one, this stock WILL go to zero. How can it be up?

For the record - yes I’m fking gutted I missed the bottom some 40% ago! laugh

I was but a child during the dot com bubble, but is this what it was like?

It's a chance to refinance the company.

Chapter 11 provides a way to do this.

dunno but im regretting selling my amazon at $2350 odd.

Still massively over invested in nasdaq and tech equity funds though and cant help but wonder if cashing a %age funds right now mightnt be a bad idea. I'll just leave this here for posterity so i can refer back and call myself an idiot.

With part of the world turning it's back on Huawei, I'm wondering if nokia and Ericsson would be worth a go.

Emerging markets also seemingly want to bypass 4g and go straight to 5g as the kits back compatible all just a dream?

Qualcom may be the one to benefit. Huge in 5G (Qcom)

It's not going to be the emerging markets turning their backs on Huawei though is it? I'd have thought they were more tightly involved in belt and road and likely to be getting Chinese financed Huawei kit.

They have both had their day and seemingly been left behind like Blackberry.

The only thing they can do is target the very low end of the phone market.

I think he was refering to 5G infrastructure rather than comsumer devices. They are some of the main options if you don't want Huawei kit in your country.

Capita (CPI) has disappeared from Google Finance. Can no longer see price, graph and all API feed to Google Finance spreadsheets are failing.

Hoping it's a temporary thing..

Tipped them yesterday,on the gambling thread, had been trading them for a while until they fell through 85p, hold a few, still lots of shorts to close, I think, should be good for a while yet imo

They are showing on HL - I have them on a "car crash" watchlist along with AML and RTN more out of morbid curiosity than anything. Down 7% today 44.2p so if bought at the bottom then good money has been made. Dropped 93% since I started watching them. Vile company.
