I have just bought some, I suspect might take a while to recover but be interesting to see what happens.

I was going to sell 50% but I feel that's like betting each way, against yourself, which it is. So I'm in, practicising the theme 'suck it up buttercup' in my head.

Yeah, difficult to see where it goes from here. At least it didn't pull a Facebook.

Pull a Facebook? Pull a Zuckerberg is more like it. The half-wit doesn't do himself any favours. He should step down and let FB appoint another CEO - he is miles away from being up to the task, particularly when the company has been besieged as in recent months.

Still waiting to how Amazon do tomorrow - my guess is they will do fairly well. That'll buck op the rest of the FANG stocks, just as FB dragged them down!
(They'd better do well, I have £10k on them at 10x leverage!)

If they don't, someone send me a revolver with one bullet, and a noose just to make sure. I have m own chair to kick out from under me. biggrin

I'm curious why PHE get so many mentions here - genuine question?
Agreed - just looks like another basket case AIM share to me. <£7m market cap.
This thread is mostly about AIM gambles to be honest.
Yep, but after years of loosing money on basket case Aim gambles I know this one won't let me down smile
PHE looking cheap today or F'ed?

I bought some a month ago so I'd suggest the latter!

That said a £500 long term gamble knowing I could easily lose it all smile

Whats peoples thoughts on Brexit and where to invest? I know that's a million dollar question but are people ramping up to invest in the UK or staying well clear?

I have a few funds at present and the ones outperforming are Fundsmith and Scottish Mortgage - combined achieving around 10-12% over 4mths.

About 45% of my investment funds focus on the UK. A tad scary for a novice like me.

India, China, and maybe Mars..... but nothing near Europe!

Not entirely tongue in cheek!

My FTSE UK All Share Index fund is up 8 percent. Do we think it is time to sell and move elsewhere?

Individual markets always carry risks. The UK is, IMHO, one of the lower risk markets. US, also lower risk. I cant think of any other market I would invest in right now instead of UK. Funds with exposure to global markets or specific sectors might possibly be lower risk. But the OP was asking about moving to another geographical which IMHO is no different and (IMHO again) possibly carries more risk. Either way you take your chances.

True but with brexit looming and no trade deal on the table yet. Surely October is the deadline and then we all make a decision going forward.

I wonder what the price of Gold be come October...maybe a save haven for a cut of the investment I have
