KEFI starting to take off this morning for no apparent reason! It has been awaiting sign-off on a transformational finance package since before Christmas.... can't help but wonder if there has been a leak.
The main lender had signed off at their credit committee and the minor lenders were due to go to credit committee before the end of this month so it could easily be that. I'm nicely in profit now though, so not complaining!

I’ve been looking at Apple shares for years but always come to the conclusion that they’ve peaked so don’t buy.

I’ve been wrong every time. weeping

Any views on easyjet? EZJ

I’m tempted to move some funds from an index tracker into easyJet due to the current price. I’ve had success with them in the past.

However between fuel prices, and cost of living crisis not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, I’m not sure if they will be able to rise too much too quickly.

Someone talk me into, or out of this
Shareprice trending down, net debt 25% of its market cap. Surely better opportunities to be had elsewhere in the market?
I’m not saying I’m a genius, but they’ve done ok since October last year.

I thought this in 2010 and sold my shares (making about £2k profit) which was about 3 years after the iPhone came out. I thought no way they could go higher with the iPhone priced in….

Also, and not saying I’d in any way have kept them this long, but also worked out my 2014 Nvidia shares would be worth over half a million quid today.

fk my life lol

No I'm definitely a genius, it’s the only possible explanation.

Just don’t ask to see any of my losses.

Even a couple of my picks!

EZJ I'd been a LTH and the finally got back to break even a week or so ago so I bailed. Them and OTB seem to have done well today.

Been in and out of PHE over the years, without totting up I have probably lost a little more than I won but nothing too drastic (unlike some others)
late to the party but went back in at lunchtime, this usually signals a drop/collapse of the SP but 2 hours in I'm near 14% up.

Of course in other news, my AVCT golden Tickets which are "going to the moon" in time are now more than 50% down.....

KEFI taking a bit of a breath today and consolidating. Made 20% yesterday. Think I'll load up again and hold until the end of the week anyway.

Cost of living crisis - people still want a week away in the sun rather than buying a new sofa. However the city break in the winter may be shelved,

Anyone following NAS? (Norwegian Air Shuttle)

I had a flutter a year or so ago, finally paying off.

Does that count as a tip?!

I had a fairly sizeable holding (for my portfolio) and wasn't happy at basically being forced to double down on them when they did the Rights Issue in 2021.

Oil prices are going to be an issue but they buy in advance + will just have to pass the cost on to punters - as will the rest of the industry.

For low budget, short trips, I think they're still the go-to company. Cost of living may be an issue, but holidays are one thing which people are reluctant to give up regardless of their financial struggles.

I'll continue to hold. Also getting a little dividend payment on the holding.
