I picked up some Easyjet last week at £11.70. They had some good results out lately + 5% dividend.

I don't really miss my days punting away on AIM (although still have a few AIM things).

Put bluntly when you illegal take data, you can profit from it. And clearly the fines aren't big enough. Every other week they are involved in some scandal. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

Or advertisers and users are just not bothered about the latest data scandal.
That's not my point. And if they keep it up they have real Going Concern risks.

I’m surprised you say that. You should know how they make their money

What is your point?

FB doesn’t make its money from taking data illegally.
???

Er?

FB makes money
It takes data
Some laws are being broken in taking that data
Hence FB is being fined in various jurisdictions

?

No - OK. As you were ....

Here’s an article about Wealth in Uncertain Markets from HL for your perusal. It seems to make perfect sense to me. It is obviously a bit of marketing but hopefully give some a little more confidence

Can anyone recommend a company for purchasing shares, are there any that don't require a minimum payment?

RTHM and TAP up 15% on merger news, will be interesting to see how they do together this year. Been in RTHM for quite a few years, but its never really delivered the growth anticipated

I am with Iweb and have been having quite a few issues recently with being offered a price to buy or sell and when I try to execute that price there is no availability and when I refresh I get offered a much lower price. Is this likely to happen with other brokers and is it only due to the fact the shares I trade are quite volatile?

Open a Fund And Share Accout and an ISA too at HL.co.uk. You can but thousands of funds without any initial charges and shares for £11.95. You can apply and fund it all online.

There is a function on there where you can specify a max price/min price rather than just the "offer price" they state.
You may have to wait a little longer for the trade to be executed but it means you're not getting shafted.

Obviously if the share is heading up and you put in a way lower price then you're just not going to get the trade. but if its floating around $99-100, for arguments sake and you don't want to cop for $101/$102 then you can put in $100 or $99.5 or whatever you choose and you're likely to see it happen within an hour or so.

Just a week to go, for MTFB FDA decision.

Hopefully approval.

I think the feeling is its nailed on, that's my feeling anyway. I suspect also that the price will drop on approval or shortly after (buy the rumour sell the news etc...) and we won't see the true value until licence or partnership deals are signed, which might be next week or next month or further away.

I just hope we hit 50p or so in the next week and I'll split the difference and keep the free shares. It been a real roller coaster.

Ocado have had a massive fire in their Andover warehouse. Part of the building has collapsed and I would imagine a number of their robots destroyed.

Will this have an effect on the share price or is it minor in comparison to the talks with M&S?

Amphion (AMP) up 70% today, they have 24 million MTFB shares, which could be worth a lot more next week (if they get FDA approval), plus a lot of debt.

Not for Widows and Orpans.

!00% up now.
