Hi all
We are looking at buying a pub with some B&B rooms.
We will live at the pub as it also has owners accommodation within it.
When it comes to stamp duty is this classed as mixed use or fully commercial?
I am not sure the diffrence in costs if it is mixed or not.

SDLT is charged at the same rate for commercial and mixed use.

Checking the planning status to find out but it sounds to me as if its most likely all commercial unless there is owners accommodation which would be residential.

Thanks for your reply, we would be living in the owner’s accommodation within the pub.
Not sure if that makes any difference but if the cost os the same it makes not odds really.
