I have a slight crack in the top of an led light ( under the bonnet of the car)
No other signs of damage - problem this lets water in
Price for a new one is IEO1800 k😳
Is there anybody who drys and repairs those casings ( nothin wrong it s fine) but would be MOT failure and could cause further electronic damage

By under the bonnet do you mean hidden?

If so just put some silicone or tape over it.

Which car is it?

You can get replacement lenses on ebay. I ordered one for a mate when a rock cracked a lens on his 1 series.

a photo would be good, 2 things come to mind .

tiger seal should do a good job at closing up any crack or if you are more adventerous buy a glue gun with PP sticks, assuming the plastic is that tricky to bond material

Smear some Vaseline in the crack of the lens. That will keep water out.

I won't use a silicone because it will become soft due to the heat produced by the light bulb.

LED's produce very little heat.

Polytunnel repair tape would do fine,

Clear,
UV resistant,
Sticky.

Umm, your average "power on" diode putting out 1-glow-worm-lumen won't, but on powerful LEDs even in simple flashlights let alone headlamps serious heat management is the biggest issue, finding a place for / packaging the heatsink no. 1 problem - in flashlights the entire body is usually the heatsink.

On current model KTM Dukes the LED headlamp has an Aluminium spine down the middle that serves as the heat sink for the LEDs.
