Thanks Julian, straight into PHE i think Monday :-)
It depends which one you think has better legs for the next few months, PHR or PHE.Looking at PHR as a complete portfolio with a buy price of X and a sell price (when all stocks hit their targets) of Y, how far are we towards Y now?
We are about 35% to go to hit targets (obviously this varies hugely between different stocks).
Whilst we will sell out of individual stocks at (or near) their target price there is nothing stopping anyone selling out of PHR with the great returns we have already delivered over just a fer months.

"Stock number two requires very little introduction. It's the alcoholic beverage juggernaut Anheuser-Busch InBev. This is the company that has a wide moat, wide economic moat in our methodology as well. It also trades at a very attractive discount. 20% plus and this is a company that is very well-positioned in rapidly growing demographics. So, think of developing markets like Latin America, think of developing markets like Africa, Anheuser-Busch is a household name there. It has a very strong presence in those markets. And eventually, once we see some of the rebound perhaps in the developed market, occur in the consumption for alcoholic beverages, the long-term transformed from the emerging markets will definitely propel this stock."
Or"Everyone likes beer! That's gotta be a winner"
I'm not sure I get the mentality of 'there can't be much left to gain, so maybe I'll invest elsewhere or stick to cash'.
We're all free to do what we want but you can't have the fear of missing out on gains from certain stocks and also want zero risk at the same time. I'm reinvesting cash generated from PHR straight back in to PHR again. Nothing's changed in terms of strategy, and Julian + team know a lot more than I'll ever know about how to invest, so I'll stick with it
Just my thoughts on current situation, not aimed at anyone in particular so please feel free to ignore my ramblings

As the number of stocks in PHR reduces and as time goes on from the big drop that made the fund feasible it must become less sensible to go straight back in to PHR (as I have done so far).
I’m tempted with PHE for the WH Smiths cash as it does appear well discounted at the moment and that’s where a chunk of my PHR money will probably end up long term anyway.

The remaining stocks in PHR are only there because they still have some way to go. PHE is also, as you say, at a bit of a discount (though the dollar is now rising against the pound).
Just give me a bell if you would like a chat over this and it is great to see the Porsche coming along so well (for anyone not aware Steve and I have partnered up to launch IM Racing: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... or https://www.instagram.com/intelligentmoneyracing/ )

Not sure where to stick the cash this time. Do we see any more recovery in the housing stocks? Tempted to leave it in cash, put it in Optimum GG, or wait for Julian’s next successful venture. Thanks again Julian and IM team for the PHR journey. I know it’s easy to say when the returns are great but it’s genuinely been an enjoyable experience, helped by this forum attached to it
Quoting myself to add - looks like our 2 housing stocks might get a welcome +5% boost this week. Is there a fast-track option to reinvest the cash from WHSmith back into PHR on Monday?.. or could Monday be too late Gallons Per Mile said:

A good summary and all I can add is that if we didn't believe there was more to come then we would have closed PHR and returned the money. It has just one job to do and we will see that out until we think the potential of this is over.
Cheers

Thanks Julian, that gives me a decent feel for it. Timeframe as you say is uncertain, and if we assume that one or donkeys don't finish the race the worst case might be 25%+ over the course of 2021. As for PHE, I have no idea!Phooey said:
I'd love to mate but the 'cash' isn't yet showing in our accounts. If it helps I can personally email Dan with my instructions of "Please re-invest all cash back into PH Recovery". If you could also let Dan know that would be great, thanks

Just to clarify what I'm seeing this morning... all last week's gain (about 10%) from PHR has vanished, but there's no cash showing. Does this mean the cash is out but in limbo, or the portfolio lost all its gains yesterday? Hopefully the former!
This is a problem when the graph reflects your personal pot and not the overall fund performance.

I had a brief WTF moment and figured the sameThis is a problem when the graph reflects your personal pot and not the overall fund performance.
Yes it's just in limbo, I looked early this morning when Julian said about transferring the cash on the portal and it was all there. Logged in an hour later to update my spreadsheet and had that exact same WTF moment, then realised it was just the WH Smith cash coming out, but not yet showing as cash. It does give one a bit of a fright at first
