Morning Julian,

I recieved the email saying that WHS had been sold (whoop whoop) and would recieve some funds in my pension account (no mention of the ISA and no seperate email in my junk).

I have PHR in my Pension and in my ISA. Pension account has been updated with the Cash - nothing in the ISA.

Thoughts?
Similarly my grandsons j isa has not been credited with the cash realised in phr.

Hth the team

Good morning smile I have emailed my colleagues and I'll post an answer as soon as I hear back. Please feel free to email me on steve.cooper@intelligentmoney.com with any specific questions.

Hi Coops,

This prompted me to have a look at ours and I think i've just spotted something (an error?) too..

My ISA, SIPP and daughters JISA have all been credited with WHS cash, and they all received on Friday the email confirming the selling of WHS. My wife's SIPP has been credited with the WHS cash, but not her ISA. She received on Friday an email for the SIPP, but strangely not for her ISA.

Cheers

WHS Sell Down

Just to answer the questions about the WHS sell down.

The WHS holding in PHR was very close to its sale price on 21st Jan and was removed from the portfolio for new investment ready for sale at that time.

It subsequently fell in value overnight, so the trade was delayed to avoid selling too soon.
WHS remained as a holding for investment prior to 21st January but any investment after 21st January into PHR did not include WHS as part of the portfolio.

You will of now received payment for the sale of WHS holdings but any investment made after the 21st January did not include WHS so no payment is due for this period.

Makes sense, my Pension was started in Dec 2020, my ISA was started after 21st Jan 2021. hence money in my pension but not in my ISA. Bummer, was looking to buy a new impact driver and combi twin set lol

Thanks for clearing it all up.

Potential fiveraday escapee here, finally given up on any decent returns on the Parmenion platform.
What sort of returns have you been seeing (or not) on Parmenion as I am around 15% up at the moment after being heavily in the red in March last year.
I'm risk factor 8 and showing +20% since 2017.

Have you checked your junk email ? My first notification of some shares sold went there so didn't see it straight away.
That's worth checking as I have noticed the sender-name on the email is very short, just "noreply", no mention of the company name.

I've reloaded again on PHR, after thinking last time I was only going to reinvest for one maybe 2 more times, my current school of thought is to see it through to the end.

Same here, based on the fact it has 25-35% left to run in my anticipated timeframe of 2021. I don't see PHE doing that over the same time period, but - damn, my crystal ball has fogged up again. The further PHR goes of course, the less attractive it will become until it is time to check out and hunt elsewhere.

I think reinvestment in PHR remains sensible. There will be indications when and if the IM team think it has run its course, and that'll be the time to look elsewhere I think. Until then, I'm staying in in accordance with the original intent. It's doing what was promised, and doing it in the as-promised unpredictable way. It's been a hoot.

Yes that's my rationale too.

Thanks. This makes a lot of sense of my "payout".

Q1. I reckon that I made about 25% in just over a month - not too shabby smile . Is there any way to confirm this?

Q2. Are there any other stocks that are suspended, i.e. those that we won't be part of if we buy into PHR today?

I’ll be going back in again with the kids money.

I think I’m going to wait for the broad markets to dip a bit again though... I think there is some more bad news to come through to open a superior buying opportunity hehe

Hover over the graph at the relevant two points, note the values and do the sums.

The slight gotcha with that is that by the time your excellently-timed cash gets invested, you may have missed a rise. I would be much better off if my excellently-timed cash hadn't taken five days to be invested over Christmas. Whilst PHR is made of shares, you can't trade it - you don't know what you're buying at.

I would be guessing around £5.50 to £6 is the target.

Yes, the £5 to £6 range is our target, so still room left there. Obviously £6 would be the ideal sweet spot.

If there is further bad news I am happy to come out with the 37% we have already made, but the news is looking good at them moment.

Cheers

Am also risk factor 8 and showing a slightly lower return.

Still undecided if I should move away from them or not yet as that doesn't seem too bad to me?
