OK, I agree that it is part of the travel pack and it is not free. However, in my case I do not pay anything for the travel pack.

Yes they do.
Nationwide can impose an extra charge though and Barclays are selective about accepting certain pre-existing conditions.

Mine doesn't as I pay the £12.50, some Barclays accounts are free and come with free breakdown cover, my ex had one of these free accounts with free breakdown cover, one of the restrictions on the cover was no recovery if more than 10 or 20 miles from home address! (or something silly) there was a few other restrictions also but cant remember as it was a long time ago we were together
