Nbrown will tick up when fatties get off the couch.
N Brown has had a great recovery so far - it was up 100% although cant remember the current percent and may well have dropped during the recent sell off. maybe more of us have become fatties during lockdown. Still long way to return to pre-Covid levels

If we're all so sure that it's going to be 20p so soon - why aren't all the big financial people buying everything if it's a certainty ?
Whilst I agree with much of what has been written (hard not to as most is based on publicly available facts smile ), I’m not 100% certain this will go to 20p and I’m not 100% sure that the increase in SP has been solely driven by the founder selling down to below 50% - I’m definitely not convinced their is going to be an acquisition at 20/40/60p etc.

Whilst they have stated that they have over £100m in cash, they also have almost £500m in debt.

They have also stated that claims will be materially above £35m... on a different scale, however, I’m sure Lloyd’s initially provisioned £750m for dealing with ppi complaints and ended up spending over £20bn... I can’t remember the exact numbers but it was a large increase from the initial provision.

So... whilst I’m wanting the shareprice to continue to go north rapidly, it’s still a massive gamble and the company could go bust.

I’ve got a decent holding in them but I wouldn’t bet the house on it, I am hopeful for a decent return - I’m just going in hopefully understanding some (not all) of the risks and accepting I could lose all of my investment.

A lot of talk on the Hemo Thread on LSE ATM suggesting news is imminent tomorrow. Fingers crossed for some decent Covid related news. Speculation is that they may have some insight into why the virus is asymptomatic in some people, symptomatic in others and life threatening to the smaller percentage.

anyone else monitoring? have any insight?

Price has been creeping up over the last week. I’m still 9% down on them so could do with some good news from them. No insight I’m afraid.

Have been watching the forum as they mentioned it on the tils one. Their embargoed YouTube vid may be interesting. I don’t really need to punt on another pharma though and they’re not on 212 so prob will steer clear but will keep an eye on it

If there's a dip in the morning, I'll be buying as many as I can but if it continues to go up, I'll bow out and be happy with what I have.

Too busy cracking myself about RR

Lots of positivity on LSE though I take that with a bucket of salt

Can’t be too strapped for cash if they are acquiring companies though

I was considering it, but I'm going to stick with what I have for now.

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has just made their first move since March - bought US$4 billion of energy giant Dominion's gas pipeline sector & storage assets...

Right, in keeping with the title of this glorious thread, I'm finally feeling courageous with 3-4% of my total portfolio and fancy some excitement to get the heart going, as an antidote to the rest of my boring investments.

I'm after some maximum attack / all-or-nothing / 10-baggers-or-bankrupt stocks... nothing in between. I'm thinking along the lines of African Diamond Miners, Kazakhstan oil barons etc

So, fire away with your most adventurous stocks beer

Have a gander on LSE, see what has the most comments and either buy it or go short.
It will be in pharma, property or some other AIM company they will have people making unsubstantiated claims on the SP by Friday. Or next week. Or at the end of the month.

Report back and let us know how you got on.

Alternatively AMGO is the current hot topic here (and on front page of Sunday Times), not quite the 10 bagger you seek.....

Okay from the (vast) reading I've done there is a lot of noise being made about Helium and Copper for near-future bull markets. Both of those commodities are very undervalued right now and heavily used in renewable tech. Copper has a lot of uses in electronics, renewable energy programs and electric cars... while less people will be buying new cars every year going forwards, it's a certainty the new cars that will be sold should be electric.

Helium is secret component used in large server 'farms' in huge buildings as a super-coolant. The demand for Helium has been growing 8%+ year-on-year for the last decade and there's not enough companies producing/exploring it. MRIs and the space race tech also use it...

So we need a good Copper miner(s) and a Helium producer

I only have 3 holdings now. They probably don't belong on this thread as I don't consider them as gambles. They are my long term investments. Significant news is due on all 3 over the next few weeks, so if you're in for the short term it may work out for you..

Copper - ARS
Gold - AAU
Nickel - HZM

Good luck! thumbup
