AML
As per someone above, my AML having doubled, is now back to where they started.
AML is at a turning point in so many different ways right now with so many changes just happened/about to happen it's a real gamble as per this thread. I was thinking of dumping but think I'll hold for the long term and enjoy* the ride. Anyone else got any thoughts either way?
"*" = "enjoy" as in: nail biting, bad temperedness, nervous tics, reduced life span, blood pressure tablets etc.
I would have kept mine and planned to average down when they hit 45 as I knew they would on a bad day as I really believe in the turn around plan but decided today I had much better use of the money. As per someone above, my AML having doubled, is now back to where they started.

It was disappointing that Stroll went for a second capital raise so soon but I guess everyone is at it so he thought he better go for it now before everyone is spent up. Unfortunately I think he will do it again in 18 months time when a lot of debt needs repaying in 2022 as taking money from the shareholders is the cheapest way to clear debt or provide cash so I will be watching for the signs next time.
I think the DBX will do very profitable business and will provide the upturn the share needs towards 100p at year end so I will buy back in around the 50 level in a week or two so when the Amigo adventure has played out.
My AML story is that I got them at 50s and when they went to 80s, instead of selling I bought more. Which brings my average to 60s. Currently sits at -£560.
I love the brand, plus they are only next door from my workplace so always get to see their amazing cars. But unsure what to do with their current strategy. Their SP is very volatile, but I know one day it will reach that magic £1. The question is when

Anyone in Energiser investments (epic is ENGI)? I've been invested in it for 3 or 4 years (it's done nothing....) because up til 3rd June the directors were all directors of inland homes (I've been in them since 26p).
Suddenly its no longer an inland vehicle (property) but now a technology investor. I don't know the directors, don't know if they are any good or something positive will come out of this change (I hope so - I've got quite a lot of shares at 1.1p!) but it's done more in the last 2 weeks (activity I mean) than 3 years!
Just thought I'd flag it up. I'm staying in for the foreseeable - if it goes pear shaped - oh well but I think/hope there's a brighter future than that.

When you say "done nothing", in fact its sp has plummeted like a stone. Its (once meagre) revenue has dropped to nothing. It usually makes a loss. Worse than a basket case; I'm suspicious of that outfit and what they are doing. If I was you I'd put your money in to something that may make you something.Suddenly its no longer an inland vehicle (property) but now a technology investor. It seems to me like you are paying a big premium for another layer of cost. If the the asset is any good, why not sell up and buy directly into the REIT?
Just seen this which might be useful to some -

Just catching up in the papers ...
In the Times they are reporting that the increase in SP was driven by the agreement with the FCA to extend the deadline to deal with complaints, I haven’t read anywhere about them becoming an acquisition target due to the founder being below 50%.
They also reported that liquidity was strong and that the cost to settle claims would be substantially higher than the £35m already provisioned.
They may well be an acquisition target, I just can’t see the source of the story. Would think that an acquisition would be most likely when they had a better idea of their exposure to the complaints.
I’m still in and planning to ride the wave. I bought in a while ago and then averaged down, was underwater until late this week - now up 31%.
Definitely a roller coaster, definitely a gamble
