On the US side - Tesla, obviously are doing very well. I thought it was overpriced last year at 500!

What are other people's views? Much more to run even at 1250 +?
The sky’s the limit I’d say! Imagine what would happen if they made a profit.
Tesla is like nothing else! Keep thinking I'd top up in the dips but they don't really happen.

BLNK is rising nicely again today (+40%), +180% overall (obviously wishing I put more in).

NIO I only had a very small amount in. PLUG is +11% (+50%). NKLA has dropped with possible share dilution but nothing confirmed yet.
Another 10% for Tesla today. Wow.

Strange day in that almost everything was up 10/12 a good 2% or so but because of sig down and menzies a big faller after such a promising start im net down a tiny bit.

With the ftse up as well it feels like a big loss day.

Will be hero or zero tomorrow with the Boohoo shares I bought though...

Adam are you just trading or have you got any long term holds?
All LT holds other than Amigo

however I have started to trade out and back in of some of my LT holds as they seem to follow a predictable pattern

Holds are BAB, MNZS, RR, NRR, CS, BNP, BP, HSBC, IPF and most have been held since I jumped in in March

Only trade I was pleased with today was buying more BAB at 315 eek
Strong holds there. I have MNG, INVP, MNZS, NRR, CINE as main holdings. Thinking about buying £5k into SHI but unsure?
Forgot - also hold SHI (maybe because I am trying to forget it recently)

Im wondering about boo as well jsut now, will have to sell something to fund it though,
What do we think a 1 day downward hit then tomorrow everyone forgets about it and it rises back up?
That's my hope, it's a system I've worked a number of times, sometimes it works sometimes it's a disaster.......
I’ve just doubled my Boo holding - will possibly be rocky over the next few days but I’m sure will blow over
I'm a ok with slave labour kinda investor too biggrin
I believe the home office have launched an investigation so this will drag on for months now. They way shares are at the mo (esp retail) they seem to drop then stay dropped. Maybe Boo will recover quickly who knows. I read at the weekend an article titled something like "20 reasons why Boo is hugely over valued"...

FTSE 350 up 2% today. My portfolio not budged an inch. I have in the main shares others here have SHI, GGP, BAB, IAG, AML, NRR, MNZS, CINE, CCL etc etc. Don't understand why these aren't reflecting the positivity in the market.

FGS even my Telegraph fantasy portfolio on day 1, I am positioned at 10212 of 10403 players wtf !

That’s a bit of a massive order isn’t it? Would that explain the SP dropping?

Would that 4.7Million share trade have gone through at that time but been ordered earlier?

why would a massive buy order (at well over the current SP) drop the SP?

I've got a sell order at 19p on Amigo for half my holding to get my stake back. Will leave the rest in play as I can see it hitting 30+ again.
I did exactly this. Reviewed later it hit 18.8p !!

B*llocks.

From what I have read on Amigo the broker left it until later in the day today before issuing Benamor's shares because on Friday the price rose throughout the day.

I guess he figured why sell them cheap in the first hour when you can get full price later on the day.

But today this led to a lot of shares being left unsold near the end of the day and that caused the price to drop, so I don't think they will make that mistake again.

so anything possible tomorrow...

I bloody hope falling from 12 isn't possible, otherwise my only ST stock will become a LT one smile

I'm playing for free with Amigo now, having sold half at the exact peak today, 100% rise from where I bought. Can't time the market but sometimes you get lucky.
Nice one - great position to be in!

For lightly traded stocks like IDP, it’s sometimes better to phone up the broker (HL have a few you can call direct, I believe they each specialise in different markets) and ask them to work an order. They can then deal with the house broker and other sellers.

Just realised that Amigos Benamor did the TV show Secret Millionaire once !

Interesting although IB phone lines are a bit crap, I don’t have quite your conviction for the stock so would need the flexibility to get out if it shot up.

This thread is dangerous, it’s like an addict support group in reverse!
Boo is screwed for a lot longer than a few days, the enquiry is one thing but the supply chain has a huge Leicester shaped hole in it - there will be a knock on effect with other retailers dependent on Leicester as you can’t just turn Turkey, Bangladesh and China supply on.

Futures red at the moment. Let’s see what the open brings.

I’m hoping to dump a substantial amount of IAG I purchased at 16:29 yesterday and bit of CINE.

No RNS for any of my holdings.
Not sure if that is good news or bad.

About to strap myself in for the AMGO rollercoaster....boxedin who knows what the ups and downs will be.

Anyone want to guss on the range of trades? 11.4 vs 14.1 is my guess. But secretly want it up around 18 whistle
