Thank god for my dodgy african and australian unicorn gold mines, 8% and 4% up today. They constitute about 1/8 of my total capital .invested

I think I mentioned paf a while ago with a bit of added market analysis as to it going to 24 or 25p.
And ggp annoyed that i clicked the button at 5.7p ages ago but it took so long to go through I cancled then next day it was 8.7p. Bought in at that and a few more at 11p.

To balance that I am holding a loss of £250 on WH Smith.

Sig I sold out yesterday a tad early but calling the top is just luck. I did think it wouldn't go up much today.

So overall today i'm a nice little up and with the US looking not too bad if that holds it will mean a better day for us tomorrow.

Only other killer is the £ rising meaning some of my yank stocks are down even though they are up.

Took the opportunity to average down on MNZS today.

Now need to decide weather BOO is a short or hold.

Took a late punt on Boohoo at 220 below what I sold earlier and Amigo got in at 12.4.

RR was the biggest surprise for me today I’m only 1% down now.

Does anyone here short?

I tried it by spreadbetting couple of months back.

It didn’t really work.

We might see some movement in SOL gold in the next few weeks..

https://www.mining-technology.com/news/newcrest-mi...

From the article

‘However, no conclusion has been reached on whether to sell or buy more, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.’

In an email to Reuters, Newcrest stated: “The royalty transaction coupled with an expensive bridge loan could lead to a transfer of significant risk to existing SolGold shareholders.”

Are they trying to drive down the price first before upping their stakes?

Figure I'd share a gamble I've found if anyone is interested - Netlist (NLST)

They've recently won a 10 year case against Google for them using their patented tech.

Price shot up from $0.20 to $0.80 last month after the announcment, and Google now have until the 15th of July to decide whether they are taking it to the supreme court or settle.. I've took a punt at $0.80 and betting on a settle, I figure it cant be any worse than a dodgy mining company hehe

Link to Netlist here

I've decided I am not very good at this.

Hurting -

BOO. Down 21% - Averaged down and if they fall again in the morning I will do it again. I cannot see how this isn't a 350p share.

Easyjet - Down 13% - Average down or stick? I am £1 a share down currently and I think I may well stick as sick of pouring money in.

Menzies - Down 7% - Bounces around like a bouncy thing. Will sell when at or close to evens as the US news keeps getting worse. May just need to cut my losses.

NG - Down 11% - My only bit of blue today but may sell if it closes the loss a little.

The others are bumping along and I am not that worried.

It's only a loss if you sell !

I short. If you find the right stocks to short with on a daily basis then you can quite easily do £100-£200 daily with lowish risk.

Greggs and Nio have been good for me so far. The big four American Airlines also (not so much now)

Key is, just have an amount your happy to earn on a daily basis and don't be greedy. I learnt the hard way about being greedy with the big four American Airlines. Im more restrained now

Are the DLAR Rights issue shares (110p) due today?
So I checked on what I could find

"All new shares will be allocated on the 7th of July 2020 or the next business day."

I've contacted 212 to see if they could shed any light, nope, they just said they'd review it.

Anyone else with another broker had their shares issued?
