wondering whether to sell capita and sig first thing they normally dont respond well to the market being down?
Does feel like it’s going to be a red day today... I’m not going to touch my stocks today from a sell perspective - I might top up IDP and Boo but that’s about all I’ll do... I think..
I know that selling and rebuying is probably a sensible thing to do but I’m just going to ride it out, means I probably won’t make as much money but I’m pretty happy with the shares that I hold.

Clinigen update looks very positive, hopefully will see a decent rise in them. Currently sitting up 38% on them - they are still 20% below Covid highs but have recovered quite strongly.
Seems like a decent long term hold, although more money would probably be made selling down and buying something that hasn’t recovered... holding probably starts to derisk the portfolio..

Most shares are highly liquid (ie popular like say shell that has huge volumes of trades every day). These trade using SETS meaning you can do a trade virtually instantaneously. However many of the gambles on this thread have illiquid shares meaning there aren’t many trades in them through the day so they use SETSsq instead which has auctions at fixed times of the day (something like 9am 10Am 2pm and 435pm and maybe some others. ) This means you don’t get instantaneous trades and have to wait for the next auction. Im no expert but that’s roughly it.
If you read this thread you’ll find endless comments like: “my trade for {obscure gamble share} hasn’t gone through after an hour grumble grumble!” I guess T212 support at their wits end have had that message added to warn you to expect a delay with that type of share.
TLDR- nothing to worry about.
Quick question, will it still purchase at the price agreed when making the purchase, rather than a potential higher price in the future when the trade is executed?
