What's people opinions on Purple bricks? I'm noticing in my area they seem to be listing one or two listings a day as opposed to the usual one or two listings per week.

The business model doesn't work.

They might get a boost from the macro situation, and potentially an acquirer may appear (AxelSpringer) but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything significant.

Pan African PAF are my bets along with GGP. Pan are already and have been for a while producing gold. Kefi is my £250 bust or riches bet.

Ironically my best performers are the african unicorn poop mines and the rock steady ftse 100 Rio Tinto, Legal and general etc. My mid level stuff has been more dodgy.

I have never held a company who get taken over what actually happens to the shares and the price?

GGP i unfortunitely missed out on 5p and bought in at 8.7 and a top up at 10ish

Price probs go up to near offer,Sirius sxx was a dog,Anglo offered 5.5p last week of trading so was at 37% discount at one point so still profit potential,so can sell take advantage of price incase sale falls through,hold in case other bidders come on or accept offer price,take money n move on hopefully multiple times holding
Still not too bad average I've averaged up but same as eua avct I want the larger holding even at loss of few % at current price

Offer is put to shareholders and you vote.

Will be cash or shares offer or combination.

If cash you shares are bought out at offer price, if shares your share are exchanged for acquirer shares pro rata to prices

EUA

I can see eua sp has risen massively in the last few months. As a company they usually make a loss or negligible profit. Net assets £630k but mcap is £463million.

Anyone know why they stopped trading recently? Also how do they justify the huge mcap? As they’re up for sale and the share price has risen hugely I’m assuming nothing to be had there ?
