i remember thinking miners on aim seem a con its always promises promises and wait wait. now it seems pharma is the same. or maybe its i'm too impatient and cant wait a few days!and it not happening

Yeah. EUA is always going to announce their super duper multi billion deal yesterday.and it not happening
I just hope its some time before xmas.
GGP (Newcrest really) updated drilling results for HAV due at 9.30pm ish on 28th so 7am RNS on 29th. I expect the usual rise mon-wed with a drop again Thursday/Friday.
Dont try and trade it based on that people. Dyor.

Im hoping cinemas survive, not just to protect shareholding but it would be a sadder place without them.
Good to see some positive messages about vaccines in the weekend press, hopefully as positive news flow increases we’ll start to see the markets respond positively..
And if the vaccines don’t come soon, we’ll always have Gerry’s dvd machine to save the day..

Absolutely! And I agree on the possibility of them not reaching the old highs.I was contemplating Shell when I first got into this area and its down 25% from then so it's made me even more cautious re timing, I sit on my hands more than I should perhaps but it's giving me options. I have already done a couple of dumb moves, a panic sell at a recent bottom (as it turns out) of a stock I believed in long term, and a hyped up riser that has pulled back. Not big sums and it may swing back but it's a good learning curve!

as i understand it due to t+2 settlements dates today is last day for getting shares if you want accustem shares? ie you have to hold them by tomorrow morning.
ie if i want to sell some today is the last day of any rises ( not that theres been any )
but 30th is the day you have to have them till to get them so that day could possibly be the day tils sp plunges?
anyone still in it if so what are your thoughts?

Dunno. I've been taking my TILS lead from you! Was hoping you'd have a clear plan on when to sell to get triple bagger minimum ;-) For me you were the captain of the good ship TILS but I've suddenly realised you can't read charts and don't have a compass! I have some in HL (to get the Accustem shares) and some in T212 (to get the cash in lieu of Accustem shares). I am wondering if the value of the shares post split will be less than that pre split as post split there will be a duplicating of bureaucracy (reporting etc). When companies merge they usually get efficiency improvements which makes 1+1=3 but here a single company is splitting which means the reverse will be true? I may sell half pre-split and the other half post split.

from what i can make out and it all seems up in the air you have to have tils shares by tomorrow morning to guarantee getting accustem. so in theory should go up today and if you want to sell without the shares then later today may be the time. but currently the price is downI have some in HL (to get the Accustem shares) and some in T212 (to get the cash in lieu of Accustem shares). although other people might not realise about the t+2 and continue buying up to the date for the shares friday so it may continue to go up.
or it may get shorted and go down.
i might just bury my head in the sand and let it all play out

I've had President for quite some time. They've generally been rather disappointing. Unlike other oil exploration companies they have the advantage that they actually produce and sell oil. Will President Energy do anything? SP seems to be down on 5yr trend.
Not sure if i'd buy at this price though but that's most likely because I have the memory of the last 5 years or so.
