Bought Vela first thing on a whim this morning. Alot of ramping of twitter. I've seen it before and it doesnt work out great in the end. 40% up today so far. Lets see how tomorrow plays out :/ . Has a very SYME vibe to it where i made some excellent money, 5X. Good chance it will drop first thing. This one is a gamble.

up 60% on TILS, 80% on ODX and 140% on GGP. I think i will start looking at an exit for these. I've learnt my lesson on 4D when the crash happened. I believe i was 200% at one point but sold at around 150%. I cant grumble. Should of took the hint from Deepwater/Skin or what ever they are called. Again made excellent money then the crashed happened. Still walked with a very decent profit.

Down on Vast and DMTR, these have become long term investments. Ditched RR at a loss before the massive drop a couple of weeks ago £2. Will now be looking at an exit for the rest of my shares. Covid is bad enough, Brexit will just add to the uncertainty.

In heavy on HEMO, maybe a but to much. I've done alot of research and I believe some good things are to come. Lets see how it pans out. I was up some great money but now its dropped back down to break even on this one.

Not that it's much to go on but a lot of us all had this exact same conversation about 6 months ago...
Well... as I said a year ago, and then 6 months ago and then 3 months ago, etc... it can’t go any lower...

Might put that on my gravestone...

And for once you'd probably be correct.

Good RNS today about finance to actually mine the gold they have in the ground. Term sheets only not money in the bank though. May get a good rise today but not doubling we’d see if all contracts actually signed.

Doesn't inverse C-19 rule apply to expect a drop (same with UFO). hehe

Rumours about New York state opening cinemas? They hold quite a lot of influence over releases with the movie companies.

When I first checked this morning they were 33% up. Decided to sell to take profit whilst it's there, fed cat, down to 8% up, by the time I pressed the button and sold I was only 6% up. All in the space of about 20 mins.

Even when I apply my new principle of taking profit whilst it's there I fail ! fgs

sounds an expensive cat's breakfast!

i have found that the reality of buying/selling on the massive dips/spikes is not there often - ie is often impossible and whilst the % rise / fall looks impressive its very difficult to attain that. ie when it all goes crazy i just get do you want market rate etc and by the time it goes through its been missed. doesnt matter which broker. so prob should'nt kick ourselves too much missing the big numbers.

thats my excuse anyway

After averaging down last week I am now close to breaking even. If it tips into the green I am going to sell up now and put the money into something a bit less flakey

Yeah the takeaway lesson is that from now on the cat starves.
