Would I be too late to buy tomorrow at US market open?
No as results are out after Tuesday close and its US so plenty of time to look at pre-market, jump on board smile

dumped TTCF this morning and its still falling

my love affair with SPACs was short, acrimonious and bloody expensive, never again

(the lack of due diligence vs an IPO is the problem IMHO)
I have TTCF (down 30%) and SBE (down 2%). I'm gonna give them a few months and see what happens. Think you've done the right thing, but my pride is making me hang on in there!
It shouldn't be if you are are good, but so much of this lark is about emotion.

I hung on too long but still could have stuck it out as I am a long term believer, but watching it erode my other good news was too painful. It fell further so I feel a bit better , until it jumps 5% tomorrow of course.

But I figure there are some better ST opportunities, and it means I don't have to look at a -25% number every hour, which is good for my mental health.

MTL had a bit of a day, trading at upto 240% up on the day as it returned after suspension for debt restructuring
Might be worth keeping an eye on Rld if/when the rto by a gold miner happens

I'm about the same. The sp falling the last week or so tells me that the insiders know there won't be an offer thus leaving AA to sort out their debt mountain. Should have jumped when 2 of the bidders bailed out, after all they have seen stuff we won't see.

Still I'll stay in and hope an offer is made... after all it's a gamble.
I don't think there's been any leaks tbh only today has the volume jumped a wee bit.
We may get a surprise tomorrow, you just don't know what yet...

Hhhmmmm, interesting.
With EUA allegedly up for sale. GGP prices starting to rise, BZT slipping back, I need to re evaluate here.

AA going under 20p?

I don’t have any but getting more tempted. With this extension it can’t be good for sp.

Futures up slightly so far. Hoping better for today although I was held even yesterday by GGP.
My short on RR has arrived yet. Think I got dates messed up and today is last day to get RI.

prob will but shouldnt imho. its down loads already and they would have pulled out already if no t/o likely. if there had been no takeover talk at all it would be about this price usually. but investors prob bored and will pull out. i know im bored of it!

AA

Def insider knowledge of this extension if you ask me hence the sp sliding. See this quite often. Us PI waiting for RNS when sp has already moved in appropriate direction.

I’m bored of waiting for aa, eua, tils etc to get over the line!!

I nearly did yesterday as the sp was good at one point but the spread was 10p so actual sell price was poor. A bit later the sp was the same but spread only 5p so I thought I'd see if it improved... but later spread (and therefore sell price) went back to 10p again. So nearly sold yesterday.

Note I'm only selling the T212 TILS shares. I'm keeping the HL to get the Accustem shares in due course.

Just sold at 190 sell price (sp 195). Happy with that, according to LSE I should have held for massive riches later in the week, but I'll take a profit now thanks.

Still holding in HL for the Accustem shares. Let me know what you get and when you sell. Be interesting to watch what the sp does for the rest of the week now :-) I doubt it will go down.

fair enough. worried that the whole t+2 settlement date debate might make the sp go down after today. sensibly id sell 1/2 this morning and the rest later / tomorrow but i know if i do that then i will regret one half going up / down!

might er on side of caution as its in isa with aa and its holding the isa positive at the mo with aa falling

Made a nice £650 this morning on HSBC after going in yesterday prior to results.

Closed out most of my position and still got £5 a point on for some long term.

I sold out of GGP and EUA yesterday, both at a small profit. Sick and tired of waiting. Much more fun and interesting stuff to trade in and out of. I've made more money on large cap FTSE stocks than on this small cap ste! I know it's not as much of a gamble if you're buying shares, but as I spreadbet the leverage even makes large cap exciting!

Yeah appears people are confusing it with the Eli lily news which is also imminent,

This RNS just suggests that things didn’t quite progress in the time frame expected, probably due to COVID and they’ve extended a month to cross t’s and dot i’s.

Probably means the globalco and lily news could land about the same time and we see a big rise in one ho

I'm currently in:

BP
Barclays
HSBC
Shell
Taylor Wimpey
Boohoo

And small cap Condor Gold

If I was to bank on any of those it would be Barclays and Boohoo.

All in blue except BP and Shell. My avg on BP is 227 and it's currently at 203. Average on Shell 964 and currently at 939. Not too worried as they are a bit longer term anyway. Beauty of the spreadbet is that you can make £££ without the share price moving massively. On the other hand, if it moves against you...

I'm looking to get some more US exposure as I'm very UK centric right now, but that place is so fked I'm a bit nervous!
