If CBX is at 20p plus, then selling all my allocation of £770 worth at that 4x multiple. Easy money. Woudl normally sell half and keep half, but can't see it going much higher

Edit: On Freetrade they are 25p to Buy

It would be quite funny to borrow £5000 from Amigo and invest it into their shares...
I am pretty sure that's the sort of thing the GME crowd do!

Another Holding RNS out - Bybrook buying more.

Wouldn't be surprised if this makes the weekend papers and there is more interest on Monday.

Institutions seem to be building rather large positions the last couple of weeks.

Seems to be trending up this morning and regularly breaching 12p.

You'd have to out perform their interest rates - not a given.

They must believe the FCA approval of the SOA is a formality and will be approved; otherwise they run the risk of losing their money which I can't see an II doing. I regret selling 1/3 of my AMGO a month or so ago now to reduce my risk.

Oh for a platform that applies trailing stop losses on live values.
Sounds like IB which I use, limits work too and it’s cheap for live prices, I pay about $10/month for all US markets and that gets refunded if I trade enough.

Thanks for the useful stuff on CCIV

Will have a look at IB later, thanks. A quick 30 second skim wasn't enough to understand it!

Thoughts on SMT? Down another 5% today so a is this a buying opportunity or further to fall?
It's a long term hold for me but painful to see my SIPP gains fall below 100%.
I’m holding through, unfortunately only bought into it a month ago so no sense selling at a loss. Basing this on no analysis at all, so would be interested to hear others’ opinions.

CCIV looking good in pre-market

This gives you an idea of the options you have on a buy trade after setting the standard stuff - amount, price, limit or not, day or GTC, algo, outside RTH etc

Why can't Investec stay on a decent run. The last two weeks have been decent then it's just dropped right away the last couple of days.

Not a massive gamble agreeded but a frustrating stock that just doesn't seem to be able to get close to pre Covid.

Will continue to hold and see what happens.

Their sp has been at this level for about 4 months now, I'm slightly up but it's a lth for me as I hope to get a 50% gain in a year or two. Their half year results were well down (half ish) of the previous year blaming covid etc for the drop. I don't see why they won't recover but they'll need to put in a set of good results before they do so imo and that's a year off. This years's results to end March 2021 will be no better than the half year results imo but after that hopefully the recovery will begin but it'll be a loing haul.

Cheers Mike. All valid points. Felt good having a quick moan :-)

As you say lth and just need to stop paying too much attention to it on a daily basis!

Can be the only answer and I assume they have good 'relations' with the FCA and within the FCA.

Bouncing around 13p now so that puts me over 100% up.

Let's see what the action is like this afternoon but, without going all "wouldn't want to be out over the weekend", I suspect this will gain more interest in teh coming days so my gambler spirit is telling me to let it ride.

I flip flop more than a slinky though!

Thoughts on the budget and what it will effect?
Surely the house builders will get a rise if stamp duty exemption is extended?

Still nothing on HL...very disappointing as price drifts down. Given size of HL I expect a big drop when HL sales kick in
