How funny, 2 weeks ago Amigo was sitting out of sight at the bottom of my list ( I have mine in order of %gain/loss)
Now it is miles out in front ahead of the pack. Still going to hold this for a while then may consider a half sell if it bags for me.
What is it that is causing the rise in AMIGO?Now it is miles out in front ahead of the pack. Still going to hold this for a while then may consider a half sell if it bags for me.
I know that Thurs last week was a day when there was added interest.
I have some that I had bought and are now in the money having been in the dodrums, but trying to figure what to do with them ....

Can someone sanity check my rationale here please?
I'm looking at exit strategies for various holdings. Especially some companies that are trading at almost the same market cap as they were pre-covid.I'm looking at market cap as it gives a very different picture to share price due to dilution. Surely people aren't just assuming the prices are equivalent and the new norm will see a return to previous levels? For some companies to do that their market cap would have to increase massively. e.g. people previously looking at Aston going back to £19
Is there any reason why companies that have had to sell off assets or issued shares or increased debt or similar would come out of this being more valuable? I've thought of things like restructuring, elimination of competition, what other reasons would there be to look at please?

Been on calls, took another look, now over 15p and breached 15.5p... on a mad run. So ~150% up-ish for me.
The board seem to have a lot of confidence they'll get past the FCA and get the SOA over the line and get to lending again.
That being the case; I suspect this is still VERY undervalued down here.
BUT, they may get neither FCA buy-in, nor the SOA done, which would likely result in them being finished. Perhaps no longer my "binary bet" but far from out of the woods.
So, still very much a gamble but suspect the chances of coming through it all are better than a month ago, hence 'someone' (or a number of folk) taking a position, which has meant an ongoing rerate, by the looks of things.
I was very happy to buy in at 6.36p... Would I have bought in now? Don't know... But then I'd have said that a week ago and it has been running on since then!

DDDD announces a new experienced CFO and plummets... Counting down the days to the merger
For those in DDDD - a question.I see a SPAC is in place - LOAC ?
So to take advantage of any increase on NASDAQ listing is it better to buy DDDD or LOAC ?

They could be in a better position than competitors, not just from a liquidity view but from a merger/acquisition view.
Cost to enter market high (eg you can't just start building aeroplane engines).
Future share buy backs.
Market sentiment - I'm sure there will be a short term boom in many sectors, while others will dip.

Doesn't this sometimes happen during auction ?
Yes, been happening a lot recently! Looks like regular auctions.Getting very sweaty palms... £3150 in early Feb, £7500ish now... mindset changing rapidly. Suddenly feels a lot to lose but cant help but think there's another TR1 waiting in the wings...
The refresh key about to burn out on my keyboard.

I hate being in that situation. Almost like a lose lose unless it drops after selling. Kick yourself if you sell and it rises or kick yourself if it drops and you didn’t sell. I have started selling my initial plus 10% but I still feel cheated

Dropped below 15p now but still a huge rise on the day... suspect there are a few on lunch break and few PIs selling during their lunch break.I have started selling my initial plus 10% but I still feel cheated
I am going to keep watching it like a hawk. A nice TR1 could set things off again.
Usual regrets of not putting more in setting in - LOL. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Would be far more annoyed if it was now 5p.
But, yes, if I come out now and it is 20p tomorrow, that would hurt!
This is part of the reason they come off my watch list when I sell, never to be viewed again (unless I catch something in the news that re-sparks my interest).
Sat on the fence this morning with finger hovering over a few top up on either AMGO or EUA. in the end did neither as son wanted the lap top for school video meeting. Could have had AMGO at 13p,oh well, still have my holding at 9p so nicely up on a £3k investment. Lot more to come for AMGO I'm sure, despite the nay sayers. EUA slipped back this morning. KIST and PHE moving up slowly.
Should be happy but gave my wife a lift into the hospital, car failed to start in hospital car park which resulted in a walk across town for a new battery... £90down..
