What’s your big gamble? (Volume 3)
Discussion
So AMGO has created a headache, albeit a good one. My original intention had been to ride the inevitable rise up to the FCA verdict later this month and exit before this was delivered but this recent rise has made me reconsider. Now sitting on a bag and a half, I'm going to begin shaving down my investment to realise some profit beginning with half my original stake this morning. Plenty left in the pot to continue reacting as the week(s) unfold.
Having failed to capitalise on big rises in EQT, PHE, EUA, GGP etc this one needs to be taken.

AMGO: word of another JPM RNS coming but haven't seen it yet...
Sounds like you were in about the same time as me... I'm still monitoring but the trigger finger is itchy!

I’m 60% up on AMGO currently having taken smaller profit in the past. I wasn’t expecting the share price to be this high until end of March if at all!!
Another rise today then with that RNS or you think people will start taking profits?
I expect that it'll go up as people see it less of a gamble and a mid to lth. Another rise today then with that RNS or you think people will start taking profits?
If there is a dip, I'll be buying more. 'If'...
Thanks for the TR1, another rise certainly on the cards today. As has been said before in this thread if she falls, she falls hard, so for me it's a game of cat and mouse as I'm unlikely to hold through the decision later this month.
Edit: just noticed a third of my holding is in my SIPP, that makes the decision easier.

For some reason IB still showing I lost 750 in EQT today when SP was flat.
I've had this many times and been puzzled by it with various shares. It turned out to be that the buy price has not changed but the sell price has increased (i.e. spread reduced). As your pf is priced on the sell prices you can gain or lose even if the buy stays flat.On the other hand it could be an IB issue.
