Btw - Tell me you guys were still in Babcock last week??
unfortunately no. although as good as the rise was, the price is still well below what i originally paid. so i can still happily say

fk you babcock!
I got out of BAB taking 15% in the end. Glad to see the back of it.

I have a very small amount of IDP. So this could be a mover!!!

Do I need some IDP in my life too? smile

I know I shouldn't'.. but I really want to buy some ARB tomorrow morning if it's down a bit more. It's a stock I just can't get my head around, but I don't want to be out of it wobble

I made a little on the rise, and now down alot with an average of $0.004. Not going to average down as it all rides on the PM case although at the price it is now you're not going to lose much if you buy in and it goes to 0.
Total punt and 1k in at 0.0012 so now sit and wait...........................ste or bust

Not lose much by losing everything?

That's man maths at its worst.

It's why I'm terrible at gambling, crypto and shares. All of nothing lol.

So is monday a good time to buy, or start of may?
I bought more during the week.. if it follows the usual share movements during a rights issue then I’m not sure it will make too much difference - although as we know, the markets are pretty random.

With all the uncertainty in the world just now, that actually gives me some comfort!

Not that the price was still well below what you paid - more that your sentiment towards Babcock remained the same!

Hi 500

What does skinny tan do that all the other self-tanning things don’t?

Agree a good time for self-tanning stuff if lockdown ends but no one can holiday abroad

The reason why I invested was because it had a really loyal following amongst the people that use it - most of the people that I spoke to said that it didn’t have the same off-putting smell that some of the competition has and that it was much easier to achieve a natural looking tan.

One of the problems that the company had was its over reliance on promotions, we had essentially trained consumers to wait for a 3 for 1 deal, etc. A bit like you’ll never find someone who has bought a full price sofa from DFS.... promotions will always be important to the company however we’re ensuring now that we use them appropriately and that we protect our margins.

More recently, we’ve launched a number of new innovative products which have performed really well and a large percentage of our sales now come from products that have been recently introduced - one of our top sellers at the moment is Notox, it combines anti-aging and skin tightening properties into a self tanner.

Anyway... I should probably change subject... having a Scottish guy extol the virtues of a fake tan product on a motoring website is many different types of wrong! Anyone see Topgear.. smile

Agreed on the smell, OH used to smell like old biscuits and it comes off on the sheets.

Does IDP have IP?

(sorry for all the Dragons Den questions)

Yeah, most seem to have a biscuit smell apparently. Mmmm biscuits..

Yes, they have protection over the various formulations.

Apologies for my absence - I feel like I’ve taken everyone to the casino and then buggered off without buying the first round smile

We now have the same Chairman as Deepverge, will ask if he sees any crossover. Although at the moment we’re throwing everything at Skinny Tan, it has a lot of potential if we can get the marketing right and ensure we’re targeting the right people - we’ve had ex-googlers and ex-FB digital marketing guys crawl all over it and have fixed quite a few of the underlying issues.

The company now has a huge amount of data points and post the raise we are going to be well capitalised, there are no excuses as to why we can’t make it a very successful company.
A few PHers are involved in the online improvements at skinnytan.

Thanks for posting 500. Very interesting stuff. It sounds like you've had a tough year!

Skinny tan is well known and with good user reviews, so let's hope with the right direction now, it can propel forwards.

I still have a very few idp shares (less than 1k worth) and will keep an eye on how things go. With such a low mcap, there seems plenty of scope for upside and for me to jump back in as things progress. I wish you luck!!

CRCL - as recommended on here a week or so ago having a little rise.

Has risen in the morning only to drop back later in the day - haven't got the balls to try it yet.

I think it's a combination of big hitters buying in, reasonable amount of shares issued (not in the billions) and anticipation that HE1 could be sitting on one of the largest helium wells in the world.
They are planning to drill in May and given the results, the SP could rocket (pun intended), so i guess PI's are getting in now.

Originally bought in at 7p a few weeks back to round up the last year ISA.
Glad i got in this morning and during the afternoon dip.
Sold off a load of Alba Minerals (horrible day for them today) taking a loss, and gained some back in HE1.
If HE1 go up a touch tomorrow, i've pretty much reclaimed my Alba loss and broken even smile

Thanks for that.

I will watch tomorrow, maybe buy back in if there is a dip.
It did dip this morning to a low 13 (profit takers), but starting to slowly climb back up again this morning.
HE1 covered by Ian Cowie in the Sunday Times yesterday, opened a tiny position, but if it dips might take a loss on my SYME and stick it all in HE1. Canccord has a 20p price target.
