I'm at the stage I need some bigger clients to replace todays drops! Lol.

Long term.....it'll be my pension....lots of red across the board...all what I'm telling myself at the moment.

Good luck all.

Ps. Yes this thread is expensive to be in but it's certainly one of the best I've seen on PH so well done all for making it what it is!

Yeah nice sea of red today. 5% down.

What’s been happening?

I haven’t been keeping up with the markets at all but glad I’m holding 15% in cash.

I don't think it's any one thing - mostly Covid fears re. Indian variant, profit taking.

Markets make no sense sometimes, Netflix beat analysts expectations for Revenue and Profits in last quarter, but shares down 10% in aftermarket because subscriber numbers not as good as expected because more people subscribed last year.

They were expecting 6 million and only got 3. Alot less than the analysts were looking for. Airlines are down as well. I'm kinda glad at that as I was looking for an opportunity to get back into a few of them

FAR: what are your thoughts on this one, i bought in about 42.4p and it slowly retreated to it's now 36ish.
Everything I have read is extremely positive

I too bought at 42 and brought that down a bit buying some at 36.5 today.

Think it got ahead of itself a bit at 45, and current falls are maybe some profit taking / top slicing from those who bought not so long ago at 10-15.

When Sir Mick comes on board I think this will rise, think he has some options at a higher price via his Vision Blue vehicle (78p) which is also encouraging.

“Vision Blue will provide $20m @ 78pence
Broker Target is 170pence
NPV is 300pence“

Hadn’t looked at them before but looks interesting.

Very volatile material price with large spikes which must be positive for low cost producers - VB can invest $10m at 25p, then the $20m at 78p... not seen that before..

I might buy in tomorrow. Especially if it has Adams 170p guarantee.

What happened to nightcap today?
It got a nosebleed.
To think that it has increased to the extent that it has (IPO was 10p I think), and has not even opened up.
It is considerably overvalued at the moment IMHO - have they served a cocktail yet?
I was looking to short it if there wasn't such a wide spread on it (and my othe spreads were costing me margin - yeah SYEM & RR, I'm looking at you!!!)
They’ve got 5 bars open and demand is apparently strong but that’s in the context of the limited outdoor space they have available to them.

To depress myself I was looking back at my portfolio performance just now.

It peaked on 5th Feb and I’m down 40%’ from that peak, still 25% up but feels like a hard slog to get it all back again now

Pretty pants across the portfolio, but Alpha Growth and Amigo saw the day end in a profit.

Bought some Revolution Bars today.
They have more outdoor space than Nightcap......

Every time I look at a reasonably positive Kier RNS I am reminded about how much debt they have! (Watch them go up 10%).

Does anyone still hold Romeo Power?
They have been on one roller coaster of a ride. I saw there was a legal case against the company pre SPAC purchase for misleading investors as to their capacity after they warned on material shortages soon after.
