My green stocks are looking pretty today. I'm just going to take a minute to enjoy it as it doesn't seem to last for long.

Looking for a few green days in a row to build some confidence.

After the week we've had, it rather unexpectedly looks like I might have closed up (+0.4%).

I'll take one at a time hehe

I don't object to some small red ones along the way so long as the trajectory is back up.

2.6% up on the week. That's a good result after the last two months.

Any idea why the market got a spurt on in the last couple of hours while I was doing the school run?

Not complaining, just trying to understand

Yes, because you stopped looking at the screen, it happens.

I had thought that the EUA news earlier in the week would have seen you at significantly higher level - seems more patience will be needed.

Deepverge seems to have made some gains recently - it's nearly back to the price I purchased it at. Time to go ?

Anybody have any hope for them in the long term ?
yep tbh theyre my most exciting share at the mo. they do normally tend to get to this level then go down again but at some point am totally expecting them to fly as they have very exciting products etc imho

Well done to all who have made some headway this week.

I had a good week last when most seemed to have floundered. This week can only be described as ste however
EQT, PHE, CWR, MSYS, FAR, and the likes of EUA & AMGO still below buy in average despite what was expected. Even BWY and a few of my more sensible selections are down.
However SYME have started to move up, still not back to my average of course.

Have a restful weekend everyone

America had a good day.

Uk really is pathetic. Its like a child waiting for its older friend to make the decision. It never leads a rise and always follows a fall.

My gut feeling is the UK will fare better this year performance wise. I can’t help but cringe at the price of US stocks. The UK looks better value atm, IMO

Some UK is better value but UK to me feels like mainly established companies. Growth from the US and dividends from the UK is my approach. I have zero tech I think my closest is checkpoint software but it ism under a 20PE and the chart looks consistant

Follows the national psyche IMO, we are a nation of cynics and they are a nation of positive thinkers (sometimes naively so). They will power out of this, UK stocks are comparatively undervalued but might be hampered by GBP appreciation and general apathetic attitude.

Anyone else in Abingdon Health and have any thoughts? Got in this week and it seems a gamble worthy of this thread. The last update caused a huge drop due to it detailing government not paying invoices and delays in test development. They claim they know no reason why the government haven’t paid. Also may or may not be producing the Avacta test, which possibly about to start selling. If both go Abingdons way then it should be happy days.
Got in on the drop, not a massive amount due to the risk but it’s doing quite well. Kicking myself over Syme, hovered over the buy button on 0.33 but bottled it.

Not a bad day for ADOM and the green stocks.

My AMC closed below the highs but i'll hold next week and see if it can do something stupid and go to $20. Blackberry had a nice day as well for a change. Smith & Wesson keeps chunking up a little bit every day, glad to see it back over $20.

A few more of these days and I might make my Nasdaq spreadbet losses back.

Anyone seen the Netflix program money explained get rich quick?

Only 20 mins long talks about frauds that have taken place. I heard about most of them but a couple I hadn’t.
