Couldn't decide on GGP or AVCT this morning. Went GGP. (AVCT on the rise now).

Luke - how do you view huge shorting of ABML?

https://iborrowdesk.com/report/abml

Huge lack of confidence or opportunism with a high possibility of large correction on good news and shorters panicking?

In all honesty, I think it's going to get quite exciting.

The shorters are messing with it at the moment around the $1 mark. Which is total bargain and can't I see it getting much lower.

ABML are aiming to get approval of their permit on May 12th by Fernley Council. Once that's approved it's all systems go.

The CTO is ex Tesla and giving a talk tomorrow which may help things too.

You'll find it tricky finding a better time to get back in for fifth time....

PS the shorts have just dropped from 10,000,000 available shares to just 400,000. Odd one that...

So worth a top up punt at opening to average down then.

I would. I've topped up a couple of times over the last few days at $1.25 and again yesterday at $1.02. Will do so again today if it drops further. Average still pretty lame at $1.92 though, but if all goes to plan it'll breeze through that in no time. DYOR etc.

half a bag deposited to average down when it opens. Currently at 1.83 average.

Half a bag will increase my holding by 38% (but "only" at a cost of 20% of the funds I've put in so far) if at $1 per share so should knock down the average to c$1.60

The stock availability for borrowing (in order to short) has plummeted meaning not much short capacity left - is how I read it.

Of course that could be seen as a positive ( little shorting to add, possible short squeeze) or a negative (company is over valued and lots know it)

I want to jump in at 1 but still recognise this is a 550m company that won’t make revenue for 2 years let alone profit IIRC

With the factory ideally completing end of this year, could be making revenue Q1 next year or thereabouts. There's also talk of further factories. Let me know what you end up doing.

Good find, that's proper research and hence you are now banned from this thread ;-)

Only wish I could buy it within my ISA but my 2 ISA providers don't have it listed (HL and Freetrade)

I put some POLY in my ISA, it's going well, might lose a little of it's push when it hits ex-div date in May though.
