I've sent Christoper Ward an email to ask them if I was to tick the "Add engraving" option for £30 can they swap the Intelligent Money logo for a Rolex one. Still waiting to hear back..
I am pretty sure that shouldn't be on there as each watch is hand engraved 001 though to 100 for the edition.

Is this the sort of look you are after mate, or have I misunderstood..?

I wonder who's getting Number 7 smile

Hi All,

A quick summary of relevant news:

1. The markets bounced (net) last week as sentiment turned more optimistic, driven by perception that the markets were oversold relative to the view on the economy. We aren't off to the races yet but will take the gains. If we are to hold the line i'd hope to see some consolidation to built on current levels. Volatility remains

2. Specific PHT holdings- MSFT revised its earnings down due to FX headwinds-they made the announcement (net zero) simply because they are required to and the potential adjustment is still within their original guidance and amounts to, literally a few million against 10s of billions. Polestar is readying its IPO and will trade under the Ticker PSNY, with an expected listing date of 'before June 30'.

3. Apple WWDC is slated for today. Numerous new software and hardware updates, IOS16, Watch OS 9 etc. Possible announcement of Apple TV buying the Rights to NFL. Possible announcement on new Mixed Reality Headset and we know Apple Glasses are close to market.4.

4. Earnings season is fast approaching (again) with Abode (ADBE) scheduled to report Friday next week. They are rumoured to be putting a deal together to buy DropBox who have around 21% of the cloud document collaboration market. Google and MSFT oneDrive are their main competitors.

Regards

I absolutely love, love, love that watch! Unfortunately, I can't justify buying one at the moment, I'm sure they will all go soon enough. I think you've done a great job with motorsport-linked branding for IM. I'm even more sure my meagre SIPP is now in the right place.

I can’t see a price for these watches, which probably means I won’t be able to afford one! smile

I deleted the email, fearful that an impending half century and some vino might cause premature wallet opening.

I love the watch but can't justify spending the money even though it throws in a VIP hospitality track day at Silverstone which is probably worth a bob or two.

Same here, the colours and design are stunning and really like it.

I've never spent three figures on a watch let alone four and whilst I really want this I can't justify it.

Hopefully there will be a v2 in due time when I'm rich.

Just over 10% down on yesterday for me. Either one of the shares has winked out of existence (hopefully not) or there's a mistake.

I'm not in PHE myself but sounds like the Amazon stock split hasn't been adjusted on IM's platform?

Looks that way, not accurate as the IM figures don't use 'end of day values' according to AdamIM but at end of trading in the US yesterday PHE should have been slightly up on the share prices plus a tiny bit more due to movement in exchange rates. Amazon split effectly takes 95% off the value per share so perhaps that's not been factored in as (assuming each stock is around 10% of the portfolio) that would equate to a 10% drop roughly

I wish Adam would stop posting about how good these companies are! Every time he does so the bloody things go south again.

Do you think, if we join forces, we'd have enough left to buy a watch between us?

I'm not sure that there are enough of us to get to the £1000 required.

And we'd also need to decide who gets to go on the trackday.

I was rather hoping all private clients would get a free watch. Then we could pawn them to buy food. silly
