Folks opinions on cutting losses?

I used to have a "plan" where when something reached a 10% gain I would consider taking profits. A bit safe perhaps but I was OK with that. I have of course let some stock continue in my PF if I thought it had further to go.

With losses however I've tended to hold in many cases thinking there's be an upswing eventually. In some cases I was right but at the moment I'm sitting on some stock, like EQT & EUA which are both down 40% (There's a couple of others down 30% - SYME & PHE).

I believe long term these will flourish BUT I keep thinking I should have got out at say -10% or -20%
I cut losses on a share today. 40% down on CBX. Moved to ZNWD.

Lucky call maybe?

EQT is a disappointment - I managed to trade myself down from a 2.462 average to 1.31. Sucks to now be in the red.

Had some pretty blue showing earlier on today's pf, just looked, it's all turned to red again.

I’m down about 50% on EQT. Which means it needs to go up by 100% for me to break even.

A good day at last, pf up 4%

Excellent from ZNWD after good day yesterday, now 50% up so I sold 20% of my holding (thinking it may fall back a bit short term)
Great from HE1 too, recovered from dip last week
My Canadian lithium play ETMCand ABML are up 5% up after a week of slow falls

Even EUA went up a tiny amount, hopefully 20p is the bottom for the endless disappointment

FAR only poor one today and wish I sold after the good Mick news

anyone still in BCN and know why this hasnt risen up closer to the 67 offer price ?

Why so? Just happy with the level it got to or see it falling back?

Don't know why, but Ganfeng must make their firm offer by 1st July so it'll get interesting after that. Assuming they make an offer of course.

Sorry didn't mean to give the impresion I'd made 93%, the share is up that, it bottomed out 13th May, I'd bought in above that in April, took about 42% though.

Decent RNS from Deepverge, SP up slightly. Just need confirmation of some sales now.

EUA up slightly this morning, hopefully that was the bottom and it can start back towards 25 again.

I’ve got a small amount to chuck into something, torn between HE1 and ZNWD, conscious both have had a bit of a rise yesterday though so may wait for a pull back. I’ve done my research, both look great with positive news recently and a good long term outlook, any thoughts on one vs the other?

Currently thinking ZNWD may pull back to 15 whereas HE1 will hopefully rise past 25?

Up 22%! If this puts anyone in profit then it's a nice opportunity to escape or top slice. It's a nothing deal (although I accept if successful, could be the start of some progress)

Some rough calcs - 350000 masks, UK retail price of £15.05 per 10 (from Amazon), gives a total revenue of £526k. If we are generous and say they will achieve the same selling price in India, and are sold to them at half retail price that means revenue of £263k. RMS have agreed to paying for marketing spend in India - call it the £63k - leaving £200k income. Since RMS don't have their machine commissioned yet and are subbing out manufacture, who knows how much cost there is in this.

Certainly nothing there that would suggest to me the deal is worth a ~£4m increase in market cap

More importantly FOMO is kicking in on HE1 another 9% today so far based on various RNS and tweets.
