Sold out of RR at what looks to be a very lucky punt at todays peak, 147.5.

Been in for a decent amount of time, post COVID, pre-rigjhts issue etc and todays closing brings a +44% overall.
Well done.

Some activity on EQT today, +20%
Thanks for the heads up, I'm so far under with this I often forget to check it.
Only -40% now.....
I'm down 49% - which is disappointing as I was quite successfully trading it initially - I've got a not trivial holding on this one too.
Even the 20% increase today has not made the loss on this palatable.
If it continues on this trajectory for this week and next ......

Only crystalise losses when you sell, so this continues to drag my average down.

Looks like the price will be headed much lower today.

Sadly yes, presumably the rise yesterday was on the nod that an RNS was coming today - everyone expected good news?

Abml is a long term hold for me now with the ban on buying in UK. Won't risk trading. With the news yesterday its got huge on term just on mining without the recycling. Still under on it with no as much as I'd like, but comfortable with its future.

You can now buy on Charles Schwab in the UK and they've now got rid of their £25k set up balance.

PSN: an OK RNS I thought this morning, the future is a little challenging but their sales and income both up on last year. Down over 9% now...Added to my little collection, there's still a need for new housing.

I sold RR too early. I was at an average of 88p and sold at 108. Slightly gutted to see where it is now but I was happy with the profit at the time so can't grumble.

I've been building a reasonable position in VLS over the last month or so. What was once a highly ramped and popular share seems to be a touch unloved at the moment and is hovering around 4p. Having re-read their last business update I'm confident in it as a short, medium and long term growth opportunity.

Yep, all seemed fairly safe and realistic to me too, I keep topping up in my ISA each month if its below £15. Its nowhere near as bad as 2007-8 when PSN went from £14 to £2 and then over the next 5 years recovered up to £20 and beyond.

Hoping for decent news from CAPITA tomorrow my average price is just under 27p a share so up about 8% atm which isnt great considering I have held them nearly a year...

Sold RR and made a few quid however I am only investing low values compared to most on here for a bit of fun.

National express. Covid lows, international business will benefit from weaker £, long term contracts, hedged fuel in 2023 and most of debt on fixed rates. Lastly a benefiter from train strikes in the UK you'd think. Looks too cheap to me.
Seems like a good call, dividend reinstated at 5p -

ETA: Strikes do still seem an area of concern.

Sold my RR for 147p...take the £3.4k profit and run on that.

I'm now pretty much break-even since the fun began in March 2020.

Indeed - I owe you more than one beer IRL smile

ETA: Closed out of ZIM on the 23rd @ 24.38 for 38% - seems like good timing as the price is currently 22.30.
