PSN: an OK RNS I thought this morning, the future is a little challenging but their sales and income both up on last year. Down over 9% now...Added to my little collection, there's still a need for new housing.
Yep, all seemed fairly safe and realistic to me too, I keep topping up in my ISA each month if its below £15. Its nowhere near as bad as 2007-8 when PSN went from £14 to £2 and then over the next 5 years recovered up to £20 and beyond.
OK RNS from Wimps today too. PSN slid further.

Buy yes

Keeping it simple

Technicals say it is way over sold and is due a bounce

Seems to be forming a base here but that doesn't mean it will hold

I don't know much about the fundamentals but with all this talk about inflation, higher energy costs and war with Russia then surely anything energy related is a good play

Maybe we need some form of news event to get a push up but it could be strong after all this selling

You could wait for a bounce and then short but at these levels I think there is more upside potential than further downside and so for now I'm a buyer
I'm fully loaded now. No more scaling in possible. Nothing left under the mattress. Last few days have looked very bullish. Today has gone a bit mental. Price shot up $1 in less than 30 minutes.

I bought more yesterday as well sitting on a nice ammount if this is the bottom. if not happy to put more in and jsut wait for next winter.

However rumours of greenpeace causing issiues at a natural gas refinery might be helping the price.
I added more start of the week, this is picking up now. Volume was looking good today too.

Yes I did too. Didn't think it would take off as fast as it has but i did manage to get 75% of what i wanted into it. Could easyly fall after this upcoming cold spell

I sold all on Thursday thinking it had gone too far too quick and would correct. I was left feeling like I missed out on Friday. I just got back in and it looks like I picked the day's low - If it holds that is.

Sold at around 2825.
Bought back in around 2665.

Nice,
It actually went up loads over the weekend but market was closed for buy and sell of the ETF i had. Not bothered this is a hold for next winter at least for me.
No intention of trading it short term.

I've been in Man Group for quite some time (sub £1) and have so far done quite well + they pay a rather good dividend. It has been quite kind to me.

As it's now getting near recent highs and hasn't broken above £3/share in over a decade i've got the crazy idea to take some profits and buy more Easyjet. rotate Truth is that I had a sizeable holding in Easyjet and then had to pony up more money than I wanted when they had a rights issue. Adding yet more money to the holding is a lot of exposure, but it seems that things are turning around and maybe exposure to travel isn't such a bad thing in these times?

I'm in Wizz which is nicely up 5% today at about £30 having held since buying back in at about £22.50 post covid. I must admit I have never seen the attraction of Easyjet over RYA or WIZZ

Up 15% today so one would assume circa £200k worth redface

No not as much as that. At one point it was up 39%. I've 102000 shares at about $1.46 average. But taking into account fx I was £10k in profit earlier. Albeit briefly. Fun and games.

Fair play, Luke. You must have been looking at some big red nuumbers for a while there, which is never nice.

The limited trading stopped me putting more in, but I've a tiny fraction of what you have. Still nice to be green.

Just looking at my end of year CGT situation. The changes to dividend and CGT allowances going forward are a bit of a pain. I can't imagine a Labour government being more generous. Wondering whether to take the CGT pain and bung the proceeds into a pension to get the tax relief and offset the CGT.

Obvious Q - you have maxed out your S&S ISA allowance ?
