Did anyone stick around in Argo Blockchain? They've been on a tear recently (obviously correlated to Bitcoin price).

I have Coinbase which should benefit but still have chunky loss on that. rolleyes

Halfords is down 30% today on the back of poor profit forecasts.

Maybe worth a few quid while the price is low as a long term thing?
The bike market in the UK is trashed. Bikes way overpriced versus demand and what people will spend. Second hand pages awash with bikes.

Maybe the car side will save them, but I am not surprised they are struggling
Longterm declining company (share value wise) that was saved by the pandemic and everyone deciding they were a cyclist.

So used to seeing any profits fading, I once again cashed out of PHE this morning but once again I see it rising, so with FOMO at the fore, I'm back in again even though it's costing me more. If i'd stayed in when I bought a few days ago I'd be a heck of a lot better off but suppose it's best to take profits then re think.
Isn't it?
I bought PHE a few months ago at 0.80p, so I'm finally back in the green. However I'm now wishing I'd bought more at 0.25p...hindsight's a wonderful thing!

ETA: I'm going to hold on to them I think, at least until the next financial results anyway. I'd consigned myself to the fact I'd lost the money anyway laugh

Was in yet again but this time it was dropping, no plummeting. Bailed with a bit of a loss. Typical, if I bail on the rise it continues, if I stick in it drops. OK still well up on this one. Will watch with interest, meanwhile Halfords.....thanks for the tip (?) above.

Here's me happy with my profits on PHE

Then I realise there's a dilution (it's already dropped dramatically) of AVCT! fresh share offer at 50p

there's my PHE profit gone (and some).

I know someone who was holding 50k in Nvidia that 10 bagged and recently it did another 20% - so £50000 into £600000 in about a year. Still holding too. He has some very positive views on AMD, Lattice and Taylor Wimpey. This time next year….

Still no placing at HEMO. Bored now!
There it is today at 2p. Which means we’re going to sit at this level for a good 6 months now. Prevail must be fuming. Need those phase one clinical trials to bear very early fruit but I think il sell on any future rise. Luckily im still at break even at 2p

Sounds like a fun cheque to write to HMRC!

I bought AMD at similar time as Nvidia when the whole market was awful.

Avct been constantly a 'good story' but ever since the 2020 placing, right after they said wasn't needed,sp was dropped to get in lower, then immediate profit for those in it, followed swiftly by sp drop to let them in again cheap same old story

I'm not sure Prevail will be all that worried. Yes, they paid a big premium (as a spoof of confidence) but their total outlay is £660k. They could have sold down that stake at maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of that price into the recent strength, and they have the kicker of support work on the P1 trials etc which is where they will make their money (which now has some funding).

I suspect in their mind, they have bought the support work and any residual shares held is a free roll on future success of the company.

Yeah, I lost any profit I had and now back to break-even unfortunately. I'm not too fussed as I planned to hold out anyway.

I sold my Halfords this morning, made 10% and bailed laugh

There was a lot of ersatz so someone was obviously privy to the placing.

Think the CEO needs to stick to the science now and let someone else run the company

All clear profit as all within an isa. Oof!

Today his tips are:
AMD up 9%
Lattice up 4.66%
Taylor Wimpey up 3%

Glad I bought all 3

Working well. Has now reassigned 10.4% of investors original capital in just over two weeks. Quite a few movers today including AVCT +27%, HEMO +23% and ARB +15%, somewhat offset by double-digit losses on REN and COPL…

That looks like more dog eggs than my own account has? Is it a spoof account or something?

Right, that’s it. I’m going to launch #ESL, the Inverse LSE ETF. #ESL will short the top 20 shares featured in the LSE “Hot Chat Topics Within The Last 7 Days” list. Equal weighted (so 20 initial short positions x 5% each) and rebalanced when I can be bothered.

Or rather, I will do in about 3 months when that's all they are worth. Top performance there Windy!
