Well I've returned home on my bike. I sort of got trapped in a pincer movement of weather fronts which really left me with continue riding in any direction and get seriously wet or jump the xhannel and head home.
Yup I'm a bit of a softy. Still did 2000 miles and went france, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands and finally Belgium.
Highlight of tour wS definitely the Loh Collection I really was a bit stunned at the quality of that museum.
Couple of pics for you

That looks fabulous.

Not sure which section a "Places all PHers should visit" sticky thread should go in but we definitely need one.

It's a special place to visit. The exhibits are the real deal, not copies, not mock ups but the original vehicle. Some restored some retaining their patina. Often historic , a one off or just a very rare special vehicle built in such low numbers your unlikely to ever see one outside of a private vault!
As you've guessed I really enjoyed my visit given it is so under the radar.

That does look a blast!
One of the things about enjoying retirement is having the ability to pick and chose days for activities.
Today was sunny, so we hiked to our local micropub for a few lovely beers and a cracking night of comedy with our fave MC and 3 good acts.
Tomorrow is moving some stuff about, then a weekend of DofE Gold ahead. Hopeful for some nice weather, good navigating and good times!

A bit further south, this is a place I take visitors when they come to our Burgundy house.

Great wine plus Italian racing cars, vintage motorcycles, rockets, fighter planes… plus a few tractors and fire engines. What’s for a PHer not to like?

That looks cool too I got a little excited thinking I could visit next month but rhen realised I'm going to the other side of France smile
Off to Dordgne for a few weeks later this month but will have the wife and pooch in tow. It will be his first really big trip in the car for the pooch and hopefully he copes OK which would allow us to go more frequently with him in the future.
Anyway the sun is almost shining but definitely not wet so time to cut the grass and clean the bike properly after our last yrip

Quite chuffed with myself for getting my head into gear and putting together a Keter plastic shed on one the very few days it hasn't been raining. Quality kit and fairly straightforward to put together but it really is a two man job. Now the fun starts clearing out years of accumulated junk from the garage and loft but I'd still rather be doing that at my own pace than working.

I hope that doesn’t warp and go brittle like my two keter storage boxes in the garden.

Time will tell.....it does seem very solid and has metal reinforcement bars so hopefully not.

It'll be fine. I've had this small shed by Keter for over 8 years now and it is off similar materials to yours. It sat at our last property under a tree for 7 years and survived the move to new place. Recently powerwashed it and treated it patio magic as it was getting a bit green and it's as good as new again. I like your shed though, may see about one myself!

It shouldn't - I've got the smaller version - and a couple of storage boxes. The storage boxes are a single skin of hard plastic & very brittle after a short while. The sheds are much thicker and have a very different feel.

Ah ok. I had eradicated these from my potential shed purchase due to experiences with two of the storage boxes but sounds as though they are different composition entirely.

I got the Artizan in 9x7 size but realty wanted the larger 11x7 but it was just too long. It's surprisingly spacious inside anyway and I'm very pleased with it. They do another very similar one but in a wood finish effect that looks great but a bit more expensive. Ordered mine through Costco and came direct from Keter within 7 days.

I've got these two and they are completely different - one is a thin & fairly fragile box, the other feels sturdy & secure.

Car Bon - mine is like the top one and total ste.

Have one on the rooftop of Spanish house which has warped so much in the sun it’s almost oval. One on my U.K. terrace hasn’t warped but a screwdriver dropped on to the lid and it smashed a big hole in it! Unimpressed.

rofl mine only made a crack & small hole

I'd never buy another. They grey one, however, I've been pleased with & have bought another, albeit to use inside a communal garage to store my winter wheels.
