Anyone looking at Nintendo (NTDOY)?

I've got a few grand in there and doing quite well. After the release of the Switch they have shot up. Looking back on when the Wii was released (08/09) the shares shot up also.

Te Switch is looking to be just as successful with a good line up of video game releases on the horizon over Christmas and into 2018.

ANyone looked into UKOG? Another small gas co.

Caught a relatively positive story on the local news about them the other day (local residents not up in arms, that kind of thing) and they've released news this morning that initial drilling is under budget and on schedule.

Could be a short term punt at 1.1p if you're into that kind of thing!
I was just looking at those yesterday, tempted to buy. There isn't much market data on popular sites though.
I'm so glad I bought some UKOG stock two days ago, 1.2 to 1.65 in few hours. smile

Absolutely fking kicking myself!! Was waiting for a certain point on another share to sell it before getting into UKOG. Needless to say it ain't there yet!

Wasn't expecting anything from the drill just yet!

Should I expect it to fall on Monday morning? I wonder if it's worth selling now @1.8 and re-buying when (if) it drops on opening.

Alibaba is also doing quite well, I made 27% in few days with leverage so I'm really happy as a beginner. :-)

I won't have bought any by Monday morning, so unlikely it will fall!

In all honesty, I'm going on nowt more than gut feel, but I'd expect a small drop early next week then another spike - nowhere near as much as today though. Reckon some people will top slice next week and then a few latecomers will join in hoping to ride a few quid out of it. That is nothing but guesswork though, but have seen just that with small cap oilers before.

Another RNS from UKOG this morning. Apparently sitting on a huge amount of oil. Looking good.

Some? How many can you get? At over $950 per share it would have to drop a fair bit in order for me to think about buying "some", I'll leave this to the fund managers.

Yeah, difficult couple of weeks in BOO.L land...

Market clearly felt it was too toppy but I am hoping for good summer results.

MTFB.L also seems to have dropped a bit, of late.

Don't worry about MTFB, the next round of news on the Revive 2 trial will be along in under a fortnight, it'll see 40p again before the end of July (imo). What happens after that is slightly less clear, seems the market doesn't particularly like the idea of them going into full commercialisation on their own, one of the reasons the current price is being suppressed, and there is another set of trials which aren't as yet funded to fully open the door to world wide sales, but you can bet as soon as I get out (my target is 50p) it'll rocket, the science is good and incredibly valuable.

You can invest anything on a CFD platform, however the leverage can hit you really hard if it drops.. That's why I'm waiting to see how it develops.

It won't drop on this news. Google will keep it in the courts for a very long time
