Shame it's not gone so well on Telit today!

Thankfully held on and didn't have a stop loss in place as it's recovered somewhat this morning...
Think I'll look to break even on that and get out asap, some consolation in the fact I nearly put the same sum in 88e instead (See below).

Can anyone shed any light on the 88e drop this morning?
Was under the impression the news was relatively neutral.

88E i think people were expecting an annoucment that there was oil & it would produce x amounts of barrels per day.

It wasn't that so the price goes down.

I'm quietly following that (not invested)... I am not convinced that was a 'bad announcement' by any stretch of the imagination. If it's forming hydrates at the choke then one assumes there must be hydrocarbons there and flowing, and we know already the oil is down there. It's just getting it to flow, which may take some time/ effort but that SP drop seems large against some 'news', which was more of an update to where it all stands and probably fell within the expectations of people in the know.

Possible buying opportunity, in my head. They're so cheap; almost worth picking a few up and forgetting about them (IMHO, DYOR). Having said that; my ISA allowance is full, so I probably won't.

Yes buy small amount (88E) in an ISA , leave for several years.

Might be worth 1p, might be 30p, who knows.

If you keep watching it, that's all you'll do, all day.

PS Im off to see if Motif Bio has re-rated yet.

MTFB.L down at 26p... another I'd top up with if I was liquid. As binary plays go; it does feel like it has a better chance of a result than a failure. Just feels odd the SP has moved down (albeit slowly) for a couple of months.

SXX.L is another one that people seem bored with and nothing much seems to be happening but I guess the success horizon is much further away.

BOO.L also found it hard to break out of the 225p zone.

Mtfb now back to where i originally bought in during February, disappointing but I'm not overly worried.

I was lucky to not get stopped out of IQE this.morning, anyone who doesn't believe in market makers "shaking trees" and manipulation kindly explain wtf happened there? Company half year results published, all seems good, share price drops nearly 10% on open only to recover (currently ~4% up)... Anyway like i said luckily i set my stop quite a bit below my average which i don't always do... The rumours of IQE getting a chip into the new iPhone obviously keeping the share very buyount, if true it could well spar again next week (iPhone launch 12th)

re MTFB, have a look at the increased level of support from institutional holders in the column on the right. They now hold 49% with 14 new holders and 17 increasing their position, IMHO the price drop was/is shaking the tree to free up the shares for them to stockpile...

Might moan a bit more about SXX.L biggrin

Barclays put a price target of £2.65 on BOO.L so I guess the rise into earnings has started. Good results to come, presumably.

The spread on MTFB.L has just gone out to 11% so I am guessing a rise is on the cards post-Zacks.

If that US share price is a bundle of 10 then is the suggestion that the value could go 40x?

I guess that's not as crazy as it sounds based on the potential sales/revenue.

I'd like more but I'd need to sell something...

Either way the US version is currently trading at just under $7 so that forecast of $28 aligns with the LSE version having a similar target of x4 to £1.

Enjoying the Boohoo rise this morning!

At 13,000 shares that's a nice £1.7k gain so far today, especially after the emotional dips recently! Results out on the 27th, hoping it will climb to £2.55-2.60 before then.

My out target is £2.80, it's been a long journey from my first purchase at 26p! I wish I'd have gone in on as much as I had at the beginning!

Yep smile

MTFB.L up almost 5% as well, at the moment, and even SXX.L in the green, albeit slightly, for a change!

Will jinx the board more often!

I'm trying!

Half tempted to sell it (that should push the price up wink ) for some more MTFB.L as I think that one will mature much quicker.

I can see SXX.L jumping up, significantly, on some positive news re. shaft this year though.

Could be an interesting month. I think a lot of people are expecting positive RNS from a number of these companies.

I see Ukog started to spike at close of play today on the back of a late RNS. I think it might reach new highs in the morning...
