The americans seem to be waking up to MTFB

$28 is equivalent to approx £1 per share.

There are some investor briefings on Monday in America and trial results are due I think in October. Might just top up a bit on Monday before the US wakes up...

Deutsche bank have restated their target for BOO still 290p & Barclays at 265p.
I got out Thursday at 252p. May jump back in but it seems to be rising and falling from around 220-250 at the moment so happy to have a few grand back as cash for a little while as it does that.

Knowing my luck on Monday news will come out and it’ll hit 300 or something!

I'm thinking the good ship BOO may be a little leaky and good news is likely to come (especially for PLT)...

I'd expect a pull back after a rise into results, as people take profit (including me).

I'll be leaving a tranche behind but I want more MTFB.L and maybe some SXX.L, but I think there is time there for the latter (months to years).

BOO have tweeted that something huge is coming with regards to a cosmetics range. Looks like the leaky ship could have been because of this news rather than ramping up to results, and a further climb is due to come. Fingers crossed!

I'm guessing the ASOS news (doing the same) prompted them to perhaps announce that early to steal some of their thunder so I am not sure that was what kicked off last week's rise but I'd expect that to add to the momentum this week. It appears to be a huge market and I guess they now have a huge 'audience' on their books to hit the ground running with sales.

If the results are as good as hoped/ expected then I wonder if we'll see a spike over £3?

As with IQE today (and tomorrow) price rises on (expected) good news aren't a given the old adage is "Buy the rumour, sell the news)

Will fintech IPOs be a good move in the near future?

http://www.cityam.com/271568/fintech-bonanza-third...

Are IPOs generally a good way to get into new shares on the ground floor, or do investors tend to see how they perform first? Maybe depends on the initial valuation?

JOG slammed to the ground this morning.. I know there are a few other unlucky ones who were in. Don't know whether it's worth holding

depends what hope you hold in their further exploits. I've done the junior oily thing before and have been burnt to a crisp so i would personally stay well clear, unless you want to make something out of any little increase. I wouldn't go anywhere near a junior oily with a barge bole these days though, if anyone says the words Range Resources to me they'll get a swift kick in the scrot. biggrin

I've heard some chatter about HNR announcing some good news... But I don't follow them/ pay attention!

Just putting it out there to DYOR if that's your thing!

Nice upwards movement on MTFB.L today, a bit of a drop on SXX.L after some interesting rumours (which I don't think are negative) and BOO.L holding firm, which I think is good as people aren't taking profit ahead of results...

UKOG should be interesting today, looks like they are going to get some planning.

Yep, MTFB showing +7% today and it was even higher, earlier.

I think that is looking very, very good. Should have bought more when it was 26p, last week!

I am back to break even on it (roughly) but can see it moving nicely over the next few months.

SXX.L having another hard day and BOO.L pretty stagnant after the last rise.

Interesting few weeks ahead with news due from everyone.

HNR looks promising, I stuck a fair chunk in before they drilled two wells and had oil shows on both. Unfortunately due to the recent placings the price is still down in the low 20's. Market cap of 20million though and should be producing by the end of the year. In comparison with Angus and ukog I don't see how it can't be worth 3-4x more than current value fairly soon.

Interserve had some bad news this morning and the share price fell from £1.60 to 72p.

Thought I'd gamble a cheeky £200

£200?!

With stamp duty and commission you'd need it to get back to where it started the day just to break even?!

Nothing!

That's why I've only put £200 including the buy fee into it.

I bought boohoo @£2.07 and sold a couple of days ago @£2.53 after seeing them fluctuate up and down for weeks and not cashing in and out.
I was kinda hoping it would drop back down .....still watching & waiting
