Do you still get a certificate for the bonds. Bought some in Nov and Dec after not buying any for ages and no certificates like last time.
No they don't issue certificates anymore, but you should get a letter confirming the numbers. I bought some in July and this is the first month I haven't won anything.
To date winnings (from August) are £300.
Do people normally have all their prizes arrive together? I thought I had previously - with perhaps a days delay at most. Received one of my prizes in Thursday's post and was expecting the other 2 to turn up to-day. I'll wait and see if they're in Saturday's post - but was just curious.

I just thought "well if they haven't won anything in 35 years (as it was then) the odds on winning anything must be incredibly small".
And there will be many, many people with a few quid invested who have identical luck. FWIW, I bought £15k in a couple of tranches in perhaps 5-10 years I've had just over £1000 of winnings.Flip Martian said:
any savings I do have will always go on guaranteed interest.
Sensible, and no-one sensible invests in PBs for (the equivalent of) interest. Martin Lewis' manic anti-PB stance is similar, but the whole point of PBs is that tiny chance of winning a potentially life-changing sum.condor said:

No, they come as and when they feel like it. All depends on the way the wind is blowing.5705 said:

Logged on to see if anyone else hadn't received theirs yet as mine haven't turned up. Normally get them in the second week of the month so should have been here by now. Seti said:

One of my prizes arrived this morning(cheque dated 10.01.12). I rang NS&I and they said that they send the £25 prizes out in batches and some can be as late as the 1st week of the following month. However if I hadn't received it by then to ring them and they would reissue the cheque.

further to my decision to pay the service charge by cheque twice a year instead on account (and paying the on account amount into premium bonds) has started to pay off. 25 quid this month. the first time I have EVER won. I've only got a 1k holding too.
A long lost mate was on his arse a couple of weeks ago and asked if I could lend him a couple of hundred quid (which I did and have now subsequently written off in my head) so this is a nice little bit of karma...
