so if you win the big one(two) what happens? do they knock on your door on the 1st or next working day to give the good news?
They certainly used to - I read an article about someone who used to do the job. I suppose a million is neither here-nor-there these days so they probably don't bother.Sheepshanks said:

Was thinking of trying to cash in all my little holdings and put back in for one big run.

There is a person who informs you of the big £1M pize - I have met one of them (unfortunately through work and not to give me a big cheque!)

Don't bother. I've put £50k in as a lump on a few occasions, and it makes no difference.Ive had quite a few £25 recently an they all tend to be related to where I have large runs on bonds eg my £8k or £5k investment and not my regular £150 top ups. Last time I cashed in any bods (via my online account) I had to cash in the oldest bonds first, rather than the little £25 bonds I wanted to cash in. I didn't think the forms at the Post Office existed any more either where you could detail the bond numbers to cash in - or have I been mis-reading the online website?Gassing Station | Finance | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
