Someone won £1m on a £3k holding bought in Nov'20.....nice surprise!!
They have a £50k holding but the bond that won was in a £3k batch that they bought in Nov 2020.Milkbuttons said:

They could have sat with £47,000 this month and won nothing.

Oh right - so the info presented relates to the actual amount bought in one go and not total holding? Thanks - the green eyed monster has receded somewhat in me!
It does seem an odd way to present it, the way I see it their total holding is the amount of skin they have in the game so to speak, so that's what really matters. Which specific one of their 50,000 bonds it was that hit the jackpot seems a bit irrelevant. It certainly feels like there's an element of manipulation and control over the draws and winnings and they aren't necessarily entirely random.
My first 6 months of having a max holding saw me "win" £550 (all multiples of £25) putting me well on course for well above "average winnings" for the year... then the next 6 months gave me 1 x £25 to bring my overall winnings bang in line with the advertised "average winnings"
Just a seemed a bit convenient the way my winnings were throttled back so dramatically.
