I am planning an extension above my garage, which is to the side of my house ( integrated ), I want to add a room above the garage so it technically becomes a double storey extension and I need planning permission ( boundary less than 2 meters ). I realise I need somebody to do the plan drawings for me for planning application but these are quite basic drawings and I want to do it as cheaply as possible, the idea, floorplan and elevations are quite simple so no reason to employ an architect. Im actually going to shamelessly copy a neighbour who has done something very similar and I found the plans on the council website.

I did an internet search and found this company http://www.plansmadeeasy.co.uk/index.php

Has anybody had experience of using this type of online process, seems to be a reasonable price if you dont want anything fancy and can do the measurements and sketches yourself...

I know there are some experts on the forum, any advice??

I'd be quite happy to draw up these simple plans for you, but unfortunately I'm an architect. I'm sure someone who is not an architect will come along and offer you the same service. Sam68 or Herbalfa?
